Reolink E1 outdoor Pro WiFi 4K Security Camera | Smart Auto Tracking!

This is my review of the Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro Security Camera. This features an 8MP sensor that records in 4K and has smart auto tracking, all for an affordable price of $149.

The video quality on this is excellent, you get crisp and clear video as well as good audio. In the settings you can set the frame rate to 25fps for smoother playback and you can also set the bitrate higher for a better quality but all of this will take up more bandwidth.
The security camera can record until motion ends or after a given time that you set after motion ends. You can adjust the sensitivity and change the detection zone. This lets you customize everything and set a schedule for when the motion tracking should activate and when the alarm should be enabled.
The camera's smart tracking is a great feature, but it isn't perfect. If someone walks by too fast or runs by, it won't be able to keep up with it.
The stability on the WiFi connection has been great, but a lot of this depends on your Internet speeds.

Does this camera works with the reolink cloud. With the Tapo cameras all the motion detected footage is uploaded to the cloud so I can access it via the app or I can see the 24/7 footage.

Wondering the same too. My experience with the Track Mix has been really good. This is what`s listed on the website for the E1 Outdoor Pro "Note: Auto-tracking is available in horizontal direction only."
The track Mix auto tracks horizontal and vertical.

Yes you can set it to record 24/7. In the settings set the schedule to record for the entire 24hours. Also I recommend getting a 256gb SD card if you will be having it record 24/7 or connecting it to a DVR. Yeah, there is a web app client for Windows that you can use on your PC to monitor it. Just look up reaolink web client on Google and it should show up.

No, that was the only time that happened. I now make sure that I closed the SD card slot securely.

@@ghtechreview Thanks, I recently bought 2 and plugged them in on the desk to see if they were working ok before going through all the trouble of installing to their final location only to descover problems later. Well so happens it was a cold and rainy day and both lenses fogged up in about 10 mins. Once I unplugged them they took about 20 mins to clear up.
I will try installing them outside in a mock, more accessible location and see if it happens again.
I didn't even know this problem existed until I googled when it happened to me. Should have done some more research on this model before I bought 2.
