As someone who lives in Japan I can say Asian people tend to look younger than other races. I have met many mothers at the school I work at thinking they are 25, but then later find out they are 30. Bangs are also very common too. Asians also take care of themselves and eat better so they are in better shape. In short, women who look similar to this model are a normal sight to see in Japan.
So they still fail to (or pretend not to) understand the concept and purpose of fiction, which is to create imaginary worlds free from the constraints of reality and make the impossible possible. As someone who doesn't really have strong sexual attraction in general, I genuinely couldn't give less of a shit of how the character looks. That being said, there absolutely are people out there who look like the main character. It's not an unrealistic body type. If the developers want to have a traditionally feminine woman, then they can have a traditionally feminine woman. There's nothing wrong with portraying a character as sexy. If they wanna give her the whole ass bakery, let them. Bump up the jiggle physics while we're at it.
Also it's always hilarious to me that people like this are quick to point out "oversexualization" and "unrealistic body standards" when it comes to women, but no one bats an eye when a man is built like an oiled up roman emperor glistening in the sun. The double standards are wild.

My viewpoint is this, let there be sexy girls and not sexy girls, just make it make sense. In a Stylized Action RPG like Stellar Blade, I expect sexy or cute girls. In a realistic/gritty styled horror game like Silent Hill, I expect more realistic looking girls depending on their age, and depending on the story of a realistic game they try to tell, the girl doesn't have to be attractive whatsoever as long as they make it make sense.
I'm a guy who loves the eye candy sexy and cute girls can give, but I won't double standard and say guys can't be the same way. Guys like that I think are cool looking. It's that saying of, "Girls love him, guys want to be like him." That kind of thing. Same for girls, "Men love her, women want to be like her."
If that was a man with huge muscles and "unrealistic" proportions, they would be drooling over him. The hypocrisy is insane.

As someone who lives in Japan I can say Asian people tend to look younger than other races. I have met many mothers at the school I work at thinking they are 25, but then later find out they are 30. Bangs are also very common too. Asians also take care of themselves and eat better so they are in better shape. In short, women who look similar to this model are a normal sight to see in Japan.
