SWCC does more than just the brown water. Im proud of my old man he served honorably for 23 years and was apart of SBT 12 and then the school house in SD training the new and up and coming warriors. The Master Chief at about the minute twelve mark is a close family friend of ours in fact. SWCC has taken my father from inland Africa To the Philippines all the way to the Middle East. They are not solely confined to the rivers and the coast they operate all over the world!

The Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen (SWCC /ˈsjuːɪk/) is a United States Naval Special Warfare Command team that operates and maintains an inventory of small craft used to conduct special operations missions, particularly those of the U.S. Navy SEALs. Individually, SEALs and SWCC go through similar but separate specialized training programs both based in Naval Amphibious Base Coronado.

If I may, read the book. The scene depicted in the book is way more realistically accurate than the movie scene. They had to tone it down for the movie because those rounds ripping through the vehicles and the human bodies (as the real things would) would have made it impossible to hold the rating the movie did, otherwise.

Also my grandpa served in Vietnam, he was the one who would carry around the radio. He never talk much about it, but claims he never was deployed, but seeing his ribbons says otherwise. Whatever he did or saw he took to the grave with him. I’ve always respected him, and may god bless America!
Just thought I would throw that out there.
