I'm a native speaker who found this as I was looking for help from a person I'm tutoring in English. This has many mistakes. "What can I help you?"?? First off, it should be "How can I help you," and second, a server or host is likely to say that. There are many problems with the English throughout.
English is not my mother language. But I agree with you . There are lot of mistakes of this conversation . specially when we work as a waiter we shoukd speak polite way and more friendly. acordig tis video The Waiter asked wait a minute I will serve food . its wrong. within one minute no one can serve food in a restaurent. The kichen staff take about 20 minutes to pick up the dish.
Thanks a lot for this important lesson video for us. It's really really important and useful. My English is not so good but I am learning English language from your videos also . And I Know your videos is helping me very much. I appreciate you very much. Keep uploading like this. ( I am From Nepal)
I like it. Very well presented, and the path is very adecuated, not too fast and not slow, excellent for beginers. Just one thing, be careful when using the verb WANT in the restaurant, especially the waiters, they rather use "would like..."
Meaningful information selection is extremely wonderful. Wishing special information channel will have a lot of impressive and fantastic information products in the future. Thank you indeed - Lecturer : TRẦN CÔNG HOÀNG - HCM city Vocational Training College
Foot the Bill - pay the bill for something, typically when the amount is considered large or unreasonable. Ex: _"The couple were left to foot the bill after their claim was declined by their travel insurers."_
Oh dear! Again, many mistakes in this video. Too many to go through now. This is the problem with computer speech. I can’t see the value in posting good videos without checking the language properly first. It would be a fantastic resource if you did.
From Kyrgyzstan because this, unfortunately, is not a good channel for learning English. So many mistakes. We would actually say: in room number 9. So you’re right because ‘on’ and ‘the’ make no sense.
Yes, on the screen is correct. An author was maybe confused by an "in the picture" and "on the picture" difference. "My uncle was in the picture. There was a speck of dust on the picture."
Thank you very much for this lesson and good job
(You can keep the change) I learnt this . Thank you 🙏

AWFUL GRAMMAR & EXPRESSION!!! "What can I help you" ERROR.... it should be "How can I help you" or "May I help you?" SO BAD..........
There is another one that is more polite, that is "How may assist you?"

@@ganigani1699 I don't think so. it should be "How can I help you?" or "With what can I help you?"
