- The Shadowify extension claims to create realistic shadows far better than Photoshop's Drop Shadow effect. In this video, we will put the plugin to test and see if it can beat Photoshop's in-built tools and features.

Same here. Going on 25 years. When you’re buried in work and much of it is consistent, sometimes veering off and exploring new features feels like too much for little return. But I plan on giving myself some “me time” and picking up stuff I’ve not tried. Great comment.

Jokes aside, I really appreciate it. You definitely mentioned some valid points and your explanations are helpful for people to get started with the panel more easily.
I agree that the trial-and-error approach can be annoying at times - maybe I can make the panel more responsive to live changes/updates in a new version. (I thought of it before, but the performance would had been bad when continuously recreating the shadows).

Nice tips for the plugin and the 3D, Thank you. When I try to do those kind of shadows, I duplicate the layer text or image > Change the color for black or grey or depends the color of the shadow I want and convert it to Smart Object and then I apply the Motion blur and just can give any direction and if you want to edit it, just you have to go to the smart object > Expand the arrows and double click on motion blur and edit distance and angle. Well I'm just sharing the way that sometimes I apply those kind of shadows.

Unmesh, I do like this tutorial. I watch ALL of your content. You recently stated that you were looking for tutorial ideas. I don't know if the idea to "review" this extension was given to you or whether it was your idea but I think it is brilliant. We all want to know what the pros are using and I think you've hit upon something here. Expanding the scope of your videos to include extensions & addons is a great start. I would be very interested to see you do videos on other paid elements. Also, how about tutorials on the PRACTICAL USE of some of the things you teach. Maybe, photoshop for website mockups, magazine layouts, and even for use text, transitions and effects used in video editing. I know I've created my own light leaks and transitions using photoshop. Just an idea.

Photoshop 3D is kind of a lite version of Cinema 4D (used that quite a bit in the past) and kind of forgotten that it’s there, thanks for reminding me. Excellent video!

Hello. I am a big fan of yours. The way you teach is just awesome. I wanted to know that can you make tutorial on post production for visualised rendered pics of interior and exterior elevations. That would be very helpful.

Thanks so much for this video. I find creating shadows in Photoshop really hard. The Drop Shadow function and even plug-ins just don't take into account what real shadows do. E.g. what about when you have 2/3 people standing together/nearby and how their shadows interact. The way a natural shadow distorts too is very hard to fake/guess. I will try Photoshop 3D and see if it is better.
