For the majin clan !!!!! Salute to all my yoshis and have a great year , whatever rank you are , be proud , I’m still at TK king so I got some work to do
One of the useful stuff is after 3~4 or IND3+4 you can go KIN instead of DGF if they block. They often try to jab and KIN parry catches them. Afterwards f1+2 is guaranteed. Near the wall, you can transition this into f1+2 spam or FC1 mixup which you mentioned. I am around TE and almost everybody eats this. Don't use it too much though, they might grab you and it would be unbreakable.
@@meihanamason6206 Yoshi common gameplan set around the enemy being overly agressive so they can punish them and do certain move to deal damage His at his core a specialized passive defensive counter char and his poking is not good
Im shocked that. What this video showed me is that i am in fact using all of these strats and set ups. But the key point was dont spam them. And i think this was a good reminder to not auto pilot. Been hard stuck at Tking for awhile with my yoshi, and this inspired me to try again lol
It's just the combination of low resolution shadow maps and temporal antialias causing the flicker. The temporal part samples each frame a bit differently so very low sample/quality effects will cause flicker over time.
@@delusional-lobo the f3+4 is the run hit he does in NSS right? thats what you mean by micro dash or is the micro dash after that? And sorry what is SSL?
@mcgrady564 yup, while in NSS. Then, once you've hit the opp with f3+4, quickly micro dash into a instant Flash. SSL means side step left. SSR would be the right. Hoped that helped
sure👍🏼, you don't necessarily need to input CD2 and just go for DF 2+3 instead. The only reason why CD2 would be better is on frame traps set-ups, since CD2 is 14 frames fast while DF 2+3 is 17 frames fast.
I've often tried the guard break setup as seen in the video and other players are able to back roll out of it. I'll miss by a hair. Is this just a timing thing?
there are some characters that can backroll away like Reina or Nina. But I'm pretty sure this route works against them. So you might be doing the 2, (charge) 1+2 a little too late.
for mix up, you can go into 3+4 which can stop opps from side stepping, while being your fastest attack in Ind. You can tp depending on the range, or transition into Flea or DGF to further confuse the opp into other stance mix-ups

I m gonna definitely try these tips❤

The worst enemy of yoshi is a patient player that only do poke its frustating
That’s the best way to beat him.
Tekken weird where you can make that a strength
@@meihanamason6206 Yoshi common gameplan set around the enemy being overly agressive so they can punish them and do certain move to deal damage
His at his core a specialized passive defensive counter char and his poking is not good
That’s when it’s time to do all the weird stance moves and unblockables you don’t get to pull off.
It's about time I start to actually try NOT mashing and I've found your vids to be easy to follow and listen to so kudos as a new follower.
Very good guide. Ty.
No problem!👍🏼
Thanks for the video. It helps to know which things I'm not considering in my kit because of the lack of experience so now I can go try these out.

Just made it to TK emperor 🎉🎉
Really bad ass anti yoshi guide
Easier guard break setup (coz this one there's a finicky delay with d22)
Launch - d22b - NSS 1 jab - f3+4 - Heart burst - 22 (Kin 1 whiff ) hold 1+2 guard break - b22 heat dash launch.
Works like a charm
Very nice info! Thank you for sharing, but...what is happening under those chairs in the background? lol Some Unreal Engine magic!
lol

What are some good combos to do after NSS df 3? It’s a launcher but I haven’t seen anything online that gives great damage there.
One way is to do, f3+4 - Micro Dash into Flash - 3~4u - DGF f1+2 or SSL into a deep dash and hit with Flash - f2,1 - 3~4u - DGF f1+2

im all ears
Can I use the alternate move of CD2? I think it is DF 2+3

ok so I've just checked, yes it does whiff. Although that is if you delay the d2,2.
😁😁😁😁😁😁
😄
Let me guess flash?
why does going into ind from fcdf4 matter?

flash ?
❤Спасибо
Do you have no intention of going live on TikTok?
not sure, haven't thought of it ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
@delusional-lobo Why not try it first, who knows from there you can get more followers.
After 31 best move - i just leave and dislike...this guy is supreme...ok
LOL
All you have to do is use yoshimitsu. Mf has high damage and can avoid 90% of combos
