My mum died on Friday, but many of those who knew her probably didn't realise she was half Scottish. When she was a little girl her daddy used to sing Loch Lomond to her. About 60 years later we (my parents and I) had a lovely drive around the loch, which is only 11 miles or so from Clydebank, where her father had come from. I wanted to find a recording of it to be played at her funeral, but I wasn't taken with any of the vocal versions. So I searched for an instrumental one and found this beautiful arrangement. ❤
Very very nice I sang along with it to the very end ,it brought me back to when I lived in Scotland, Listening to all the beautiful Scottish Airs. This being the most famous of them all. God Bless Your Hands and your Spirit... From the mountain in Ireland
