I have a wall of various butterflies made of differrent materials . It was my Mama’s favorite next to her oriental art . She did some beautiful cross stitch pieces that hang in my house and some are packed up
Back in the day.... I belonged to a 4-H club. It was not just to take care of animals. I was in a sewing 4-H club. They also had clubs where you would learn kitchen/baking skills. But that was when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. LOL
I was in 4H when I was young. We Learned.a.lot of things. Sewing, skills in babysitting, also some kids.raised.and.showed.pigs,cows,goats.etc. It was a great group to be a part of.
Hi George and Jeremy, Christian and Patience! Great job cleaning up the school thus far! You said you have folks coming down for Half Mill Time to Grill... Have you thought about asking them all to pitch in and paint the inside of the school... Possibly make it a contest for prizes of some sort?! Give each one an equal measurement of wall area (paint taped in sections) and time them all to see who finishes 1st, 2nd & 3rd? That would help you get it painted quickly and have a bit of fun along the way. You wouldn't have to worry about paint splatter on the floor IF you wait to pull up linoleum until after painting is all done. THAT way you won't get paint on the hard wood floors underneath! Also, IF you are keeping the doors inside, and there's folks who want to help, but don't or can't do a whole wall section for competition, they could paint the doors if you have them prepped ahead with covered windows, handles, etc. Just some thoughts...
