- Join me for days 3, 4 and 5 of my time in Vevey and Montreux for the Montreux Jazz Festival where I was accredited as media this year. I enjoyed some amazing sights including The Fork, a beautiful boat ride, Vevey town centre and of course the festival with music from Victor Ray, Paloma Faith, Diana Krall and Jamie Cullum!

Wow! The water is beautiful!! What a lovely place to attend a festival…❤️ Thanks for sharing your experience!
It is a beautiful place 🥰 Thanks so much for watching!
A beautiful location for the festival for sure ....the thing I love about views like that is the water and sky look so different depending on the time of day and weather conditions...every time you look it's beautiful in a whole new way...glad you had a great time....Karl from eastern Canada ❤❤❤🍁🍁🍁
Thanks so much for watching Karl! Yes it’s really picture perfect all times of the day 🌅
Thank You for the vidéo
Nina! What a beautiful place. I liked seeing the giant fork in the water. There's a connection with another travel show I've been watching. US couple traveling around Australia visit 'big' things. Pineapple, banana, lobster, potato, etc. The girl, Tia, always has to stand by the thing for 'scale'. Definitely sounds like BYO chocolate there. The dolmades and wedges looked very tempting. It feels like I was there. That was fun! Thanks for putting in all that work to share your trip. 😎
Aw I’m so glad you enjoyed it! That’s such a good idea to stand next to the objects for scale - I fear I would have been waist deep in the lake if I’d tried with the fork 😂 Thanks so much for watching 🙏🏻
I love this, thank you! When I was watching your first vlog a few days ago, I was thinking how awesome it would be if you had a music and travel show ... like you spend a few days exploring somewhere you've never been and maybe go to one big touring show, a small bar/club gig, and look at a couple of street performers ... plus all the sights, sounds, touristy bits, off-the-beaten path stuff and food recs. You could co-host it with someone like Eddie Izzard. It would be my favourite show ever. Just saying. 😎
Oh wow it’s so funny you had that idea as it’s actually a dream of mine to present a travel show with a music spin of sorts. Who knows what the future holds - maybe it’ll be a new series on my channel one day 😊
@@ninaschofield Yep, I can tell. Your enthusiasm comes across so authentically! Well if your pitch to the Beeb is successful, and you need a writer/ideas person for your backroom team, hit me up! 🙌
Thank you so much for sharing, Nina! (and making all of us so jealous ;)
It’s my pleasure! 😊😊
I like vacations by the Italian lakes your vlog has me thinking to take a look at the Swiss lake, thanks for sharing Nina
I can definitely recommend them for a nice relaxing break 😊
Wow, what a beautiful place. And a woman's heaven (with deep pockets) with all those chocolate goodies 🙂. Diana Krall is coming to my little town of Saguenay, Québec, Canada, November 24. She's going to perform less than 2 miles away from where I live (La Baie, Saguenay). The venue can seat up to 2,100 guests. It used to be a Hockey ring in my younger years. I haven't committed to go just yet, but will definitely think about it.
Nina was a very happy young Lady, on this journey.
I was indeed! 😊
wow, didnt know you had gone to Switzerland. I went there last summer and stayed in Lauterbrunnen. I have pictures on my phone that dont look real. Looks like a painted canvas. Unreal views. Glad I saw it in my lifetime! Going back to London next summer, we loved it!
Thanks for having shared your days in Switzerland with me 🙏❤🌹. I know you've been a bit busy in the pass few months, but you forgot something: ✍️.
Wonderful vlog really enjoyed watching and the incredible scenery. I need to go to Switzerland ❤🎉
I’m so glad you enjoyed watching! Here’s hoping you get to visit beautiful Switzerland soon 🥰
@@ninaschofield Thanks Nina, Italian and Swiss Lakes booked for spring 2025!

Wow is me❤❤,This is Beautiful, iiiii Was In All that Water❤ ,Love Swimming in the Ocean, Thanks so very much, Do enjoy that Place is Gorgeous, Stay Safe Dear friend 😂❤❤
Thanks so much for watching!
That lake is the inspiration for the song Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. I’d love to see your reaction to that.
If you look closely at the video with the rainbow you will actually see that it is a double one to the right of the screen not the strongest but visible.
Oh amazing thanks for pointing that out!
In my mind, jazz is John Coltrane, Louis Amstrong, Miles Davis. Those performers that Nina told us about, is that jazz?
Is Deep Purple Jazz? Queen? Morcheeba? I mean, it's not only Jazz since dozens of Years :)
@@Tearnofear Queen definitely performed jazz. They even have a album called Jazz. Deep Purple performing 'Wring That Neck' at the Belgian Jazz-Bilzen Festival on 22nd August 1969. Who the Morcheeba are, I don't know.
@@child-in-time-j9g So you answered your Question yourself. Nice Job :D
(Morcheeba is Triphop/Elektro)
@@Tearnofear Yeah, that's true. But Queen is a real jazz musicians. Because jazz is a phantom.
What a beautiful place wow. Also are u gonna react to c,xoxo by Camila Cabello?
Melissa Bonny is born in Montreux , you should definitely check her out.
Did you see RAYE? When I read she'd be performing at Montreux some months ago, I thought about buying a ticket, but then it's not only the ticket, but also the travel and accommodation expenses and I refrained... Now I'm regretting it, because I'm seeing more and more shorts of RAYE's concert and they are incredible... no full songs so far, unfortunately...
I had to leave Switzerland before Raye’s performance date unfortunately but I watched her show on the livestream and it looked so good - it is a big commitment to see an artist abroad so I totally understand your decision. Hopefully you’ll be able to get some tickets to a more local upcoming show instead ❤😊
@@ninaschofield I'm Bavarian, so Montreux wouldn't have been too far, but Switzerland is expensive... She was also in Budapest, and at a jazz fest in Umbria, Italy... anyway, I'll catch her sooner or later, just have to...
But I'm looking forward to seeing Postmodern Jukebox live in Kempten in September, which is about 15 km from the place I live... Unfortunately they won't bring Haley Reinhart or Morgan James, but all the same it'll be great fun I hope...
