The film is called "Papillon". He survived the incarceration and attempted to escape several times until the authorities, marvelling at his persistence and determination, finally gave in and gave him a full pardon. By that time he had lost all his teeth due to severe malnutrition. Everyone should watch this great movie.
Brother Willaim JazakAllah kheir for bringing brother Abdul Wahid infront of the world. He has been wrongly portrayed in a negative manner for an evil purpose of demonsing Muslims. I am glad you guys came together to show the world what an academically intellectual person brother Abdul Wahid is ... he also showed his utmost respect for jews, christians and Muslims alike.
Thankyou brother Paul Asalamualykum to you both .. MashaAllah it is briefly explained the past to the present .. I will definitely share and makes sure my kids learn from it

Hello Paul, I personally just come across some fascinating history involvin Christian Spain and magreb centering on the great and rather unknown (atleast to me) personality that is Anselm Turmeda. The Christian priest turned Muslim through learning of the higher monks knowing the true term of parakeltos in John 14:16 to be referring to Muhammad. His story is fascinating and would recommend sharing it for the audience who wasn't aware of his works
@@amth3400 "The Gift to the Intelligent for Refuting the Arguments of the Christians" is his most well known book and details his conversion story and the forgeries of Christianity to the religion of Isa. I haven't read it myself yet but I hear it's a good work but I don't know if everything in the book is good.
That interpretation is NUTS, Everyone knows that the Paraclete descended on the 12 apostles at Pentencost; that was the birth of the Chruch's mission which in 300 years, without the use of violence, conquered the Roman empire. Anslem Turmeda may have had many reasons for converting but he must have known that.
@@andrewphilip3308 actually the most common theories for who that is, is usually Paul or the holy Spirit. Both of which don't make any sense since Jesus needed to go away for him to arrive. And the holy Spirit was always there so it can't be him. And it most definitely is not Paul for his complete forgery of the original Christianity James and the disciples were upon and their fight in Jerusalem showed that. The common belief was that this person would be a prophet after him
@@andrewphilip3308 there's also two interpretations of how that word can refer to Muhammad. Jesus in another verse refers to himself as a parclete so whatever Jesus was another would follow (I.e a prophet) and that's how early semetic Christians understood Jesus and this verse. Another prophet would arrive. It also fit with the 3 prophets predicted in the old testament. John the Baptist was 1, Jesus was the second and messiah, leaving "That prophet" remaining. The prophet that would bring the unbelieving khedarites (Arabs) from paganism to the god of Abraham in isiah 42. However periklytos the word used in the original Greek is also a name and a title. It means the praised one and in Hebrew it's ham ma da. Aramaic and Arabic it means Ahmed. And Jesus in the Quran says "...and to give you good news of the messenger after me and his name is Ahmed" surah 61:6. Ahmed is another name for Muhammad and it means the praised one Regardless the church is in absolutely zero agreement on who that individual is and evem what the word means and usually refer to just the holy Spirit but like I said before that's a controdiction.
When Netanyahu speaks of a two-state solution, he believes Palestinians already have a state in Jordan. It's all spelled out in chapter 9 of his 1993 book, _A Place Among the Nations_, which may be considered his _Mein Kampf_. When a tyrant tells you what he wants to do, people should pay attention.
@@tbishop4961According to who? A time will come when greedy IsraHELL will have nothing due to its ungratefulness. It should thank the Palestinians 100x a day for allowing them a safe haven from racist anti semitic Europe. Palestinians took them in at a time no one wanted them.
Thankyou for this comprehensive history lesson. I've been trying to put it together myself but it's such a tricky subject with the whole antisemitism clouding everything. Discussing calmly was just what I needed. I hope more people find this discussion.
How is this sort of atrocious actions tolerated in today’s world. It seems worse atrocities will happen b4 peace has a chance. Amazing presentation. Thank you doctor & Paul.

Thank you brothers for this amazing lecture. I honestly learnt so much. Although the knowledge filled me with sadness, knowledge is power as they say. I hope that Palestine will be truly free one day, and that the Arab leaders who betrayed them are exposed in this world, and the next.
Nahum Goldmann wrote in "The Jewish Paradox: A Personal Memoir of Historic Encounters that Shaped the Drama of Modern Jewry (1978)" as translated from the French by Steve Cox the following which explains many things: One day, or rather night, in 1956 I sat up at his [Ben-Gurion's] house till three in the morning. That night, a beautiful summer night, we had a forthright discussion on the Arab problem. "I don't understand your optimism" Ben-Gurion declared. "Why should the Arabs make peace? If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, it's true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that? They may perhaps forget in one or two generations' time, but for the moment there is no chance. So it's simple: we have to stay strong and maintain a powerful army. Our whole policy is there. Otherwise, the Arabs will wipe us out. I'll be seventy years old soon. Well, Nahum, if you asked me whether I shall die and be buried in a Jewish State I would tell you Yes; in ten years, fifteen years, I believe there will still be a Jewish State. But ask me whether my son Amos, who will be fifty at the end of this year, has a chance of dying and being buried in a Jewish State, and I would answer: fifty-fifty." “But how can you sleep with that prospect in mind and be PM of Israel too?" I responded. "Who says I sleep?" was Ben-Gurion's simple reply.

Many people do not like Hizbut-Tahrir. However, Jazak Allah Khair brother Paul for inviting him. Disclaimer: I am not a supporter of Hizbut-Tahrir since I do not know about the movement.
*Although much of this information is known to people, we do not usually get the sweep of history which underpins current events in Palestine. Ultimately, although some facts of history might be new to us, being better informed can serve only to frustrate us because there is not a thing we can do about the violence being done to the Palestinian people. Most shocking of all, to some of us what is baffling is how the millions of Muslims today simply sit back and do nothing to help the Palestinians. The Jewish son-in-law of President Trump, Jared Kushner, solved the Palestinian Question as promised by his father-in-law by getting Muslim states to have normal friendly relationships with Israel by ignoring the rights of Palestinians. This is a sad indictment on Muslims. I recall a scene in the film Lawrence of Arabia where T. E. Lawrence criticizes the Arabs and accuses them of being a little people, unable to unite but clinging to tribal loyalties. I didn't understand this when I saw it as a young boy but the comment remained in my head. Today I understand what Lawrence meant.*
Allah wants Jews flourish in their land and spread the wisdom among Arabs. Because Arabs need to be saved from the dominion of darkness they’re living in.
Let's make this clear Semitic doesn't mean Jewish it means people from bilad asham (land of sham) (Levent region). Love this video. Jazakum Allah khayr
I'd like to thank you both Paul and Dr. Abdul Wahid for this very informative episode. Really learnt a lot. But I have a correction, at 1:26:20. The presentation includes Oman in the Abraham accords, Oman is not part of the deal, in fact there is a Royal Decree in the country which bans interaction with the Zionist entity for private and public figures and citizens are barred from making contact with individuals or entities based in Israel for any purpose, whether directly or through a third party.
1:11:00 Another thing is that Israel was given more coastal access which means rights to more offshore oil fields. And they were given access to the red sea too.

Masyalloh, thank brother Paul & Dr.Abdul briefly explain the history of Palestine & the fall of Yerusalem, may Alloh SWT bless your both...🤲🏿🤲🏿🤲🏿🤲🏿🤲🏿
Unfortunately, our Ummah has been for a while plagued with traitors everywhere 😢
Very interesting video, jazak Allah khayr brother Paul and Dr Abdul Wahid
The film is called "Papillon". He survived the incarceration and attempted to escape several times until the authorities, marvelling at his persistence and determination, finally gave in and gave him a full pardon. By that time he had lost all his teeth due to severe malnutrition. Everyone should watch this great movie.
Thank you
Salam Paul. This is very informative. I learnt a lot from this. Thanks so much! Regards from Penang
Thank you for fostering a beautiful and respectful discussion. Your efforts have made this enlightening conversation possible.

Can you share his works?
Ahmed is another name for Muhammad and it means the praised one
Regardless the church is in absolutely zero agreement on who that individual is and evem what the word means and usually refer to just the holy Spirit but like I said before that's a controdiction.
That was the original deal🤷♂️
@@tbishop4961According to who? A time will come when greedy IsraHELL will have nothing due to its ungratefulness. It should thank the Palestinians 100x a day for allowing them a safe haven from racist anti semitic Europe. Palestinians took them in at a time no one wanted them.
Isn’t that true. All you need to do is get rid of so called King and establish a democracy and there you go you have a beautiful country of you yours
masyaa Allah, jazakallah akhi,,obrolan yang sangat indah
Thankyou for this comprehensive history lesson. I've been trying to put it together myself but it's such a tricky subject with the whole antisemitism clouding everything. Discussing calmly was just what I needed. I hope more people find this discussion.
Never knew of brother Abdul Wahid but after piers Morgan show I’m a fan
Beautifully eloquent Allahumma baarik

A very special and exciting book.
it took me more than 2 months to complete this video. all this time, it is waiting in my tab 24 7 and i just cant put myself to watch it. i watched the 50% at first and i reached the limit. the limit of seeing the holy land came in our hands to losing it. the back stabbers and ya rabb what not.

Thank you brothers for this amazing lecture. I honestly learnt so much. Although the knowledge filled me with sadness, knowledge is power as they say.
I hope that Palestine will be truly free one day, and that the Arab leaders who betrayed them are exposed in this world, and the next.
Nahum Goldmann wrote in "The Jewish Paradox: A Personal Memoir of Historic Encounters that Shaped the Drama of Modern Jewry (1978)" as translated from the French by Steve Cox the following which explains many things:
One day, or rather night, in 1956 I sat up at his [Ben-Gurion's] house till three in the morning.
But ask me whether my son Amos, who will be fifty at the end of this year, has a chance of dying and being buried in a Jewish State, and I would answer: fifty-fifty."
“But how can you sleep with that prospect in mind and be PM of Israel too?" I responded.
"Who says I sleep?" was Ben-Gurion's simple reply.
First they came for the Ottomans, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Ottoman.
Then they came for the Palestine, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Palestinian
Then they came for the Bosnians, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Bosnian.
Then they came for the Afghanis, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Afghani.
Then they came for the Chechniyans, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Chechniyan.
Then they came for the Iraqis, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Iraqi.
Then they came for the Gazans, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Gazan-Palestinian
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.
I Love paul for the sake of Allah. May Allah reward him in jannah without accounting.
Well done Abdul wahid
Sheikh Imraan Hosein has spoken extensively on this subject

Many people do not like Hizbut-Tahrir. However, Jazak Allah Khair brother Paul for inviting him. Disclaimer: I am not a supporter of Hizbut-Tahrir since I do not know about the movement.
dr abdul wahid , you are a lion.
Nothing happened by chance.
Allah is the greatest planner, He wants all Palestinians to be martyrs.
Sending 'refugees' to Rwanda is for the purpose of processing asylum claims, not for rehousing.
In 1917 there was no sense of civil liberties or prejudice free politics as we know it today. Jingoism and racism were commonly and openly expressed.
