    - Discussion of Theodor Herzl, the founder of Zionism, and the varying visions within the Zionist movement.
11:52 🌍 *Orthodox Jewish Perspectives on Zionism*
    - Explanation of the Orthodox Jewish perspective on Zionism, emphasizing the anti-Zionist stance of the majority until 1947.
    - Overview of organizations like Neturei Karta opposing Zionism, even facing persecution for their beliefs.
20:41 🌐 *World War I and British Policy*
    - Examination of the British perspective on the Ottoman Empire's weakening during World War I and the potential threat it posed.
    - Introduction of Sharif Hussein and his recruitment by the British to incite insurrection within the Ottoman Empire.
    26:45 🗺️ *McMahon-Hussein Correspondence*
    - Overview of the McMahon-Hussein Correspondence, highlighting the enticements offered to Sharif Hussein, including the promise of Arab independence.
    - Mention of conflicting promises made by Britain to both Sharif Hussein and the French, leading to post-war territorial disputes.
32:09 📜 *Balfour Declaration and Contradictions*
    - Examination of the Balfour Declaration and its significance in supporting the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine.
    - Analysis of the contradictions in British policies, simultaneously supporting Zionist aspirations and making promises to Arab leaders.
26:41 🌍 *Ottoman Empire and Arab Revolt*
    - The British incited the Arab Revolt during World War I, promising Sharif Hussein control over Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq, and parts of Saudi Arabia.
    - Funded by the British, the Arab Revolt, led by T. E. Lawrence, aimed to mobilize Arab tribes against the Ottomans.
30:46 🤝 *Sykes-Picot Agreement and Division of the Middle East*
    - The Sykes-Picot Agreement (1916) between Britain and France divided the Ottoman Empire, shaping the post-World War I Middle East.
    - The agreement drew arbitrary lines, creating states without considering local dynamics and fostering long-term conflicts.
32:35 🗺️ *Division of the Middle East Post-World War I*
    - After World War I, the Middle East was divided into small, dependent states, following the colonial powers' interests.
    - The post-war plan aimed to prevent these states from functioning independently, ensuring control by colonial masters.
34:00 📜 *Balfour Declaration and the Zionist Agenda*
    - The Balfour Declaration (1917) expressed British support for a Jewish homeland in Palestine, driven by complex motivations, including geopolitical strategy.
    - The promise not to prejudice non-Jewish communities' rights proved untrue, contributing to tensions in the region.
41:33 ⚔️ *Fall of Jerusalem and Media Representation*
    - The fall of Jerusalem in 1917 was depicted with imperialistic and religious overtones in the media.
    - Media narratives portrayed the "rescue" of Jerusalem after 673 years of Muslim rule, reflecting colonial arrogance.
44:48 🕊️ *League of Nations Mandate for Palestine*
    - The League of Nations granted Britain a mandate for Palestine in 1920, incorporating the Balfour Declaration and Sykes-Picot Accord into legal frameworks.
    - The mandate reflected the colonial powers' interests rather than considering the self-determination of the affected populations.
47:58 🌐 *Britain's Colonial Plan and Strategic Objectives*
    - Britain's colonial plan for Palestine aimed at serving distinct military and strategic objectives, particularly in relation to India.
    - The importance of controlling Palestine was emphasized for proximity to the Suez Canal and safeguarding British interests.
53:08 🌍 *Colonial and Zionist Agenda*
    - Israel is considered a significant asset by the U.S., reflecting a colonial and Zionist alliance with shared interests.
    - Tension exists within this alliance, as highlighted by the Sykes-Picot Agreement and internal conflicts among Zionist leaders.
54:13 🗺️ *Zionist Immigration and Demographic Shift*
    - During the British mandate (1920-1948), Palestine witnessed a substantial increase in the Jewish population, largely due to European Jewish immigration.
    - The British facilitated this immigration, affecting the demographic balance in favor of the Zionist population.
58:56 🤝 *Political Organization and Unequal Representation*
    - Jewish communities in Palestine were allowed to organize politically, setting the stage for a power shift by 1948.
    - British policies favored the Zionist population, suppressing representative institutions for Palestinians and empowering the Jewish community politically and militarily.
01:00:06 ⚔️ *Zionist Militias and Political Extremism*
    - Zionist militias, such as the Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi, played a significant role in the conflict, engaging in acts considered terrorist.
    - Acts like the bombing of the King David Hotel and collaboration with Nazis by certain Zionist factions highlight the complexity of the situation.
    01:02:07 🌐 *Churchill's Views and Civilizational Perspective*
    - Winston Churchill's views, expressed in 1937, reflected a civilizational perspective, justifying colonization based on perceived cultural superiority.
    - The historical irony lies in Churchill's later role as a defender of freedom during World War II, despite earlier statements resembling white supremacist ideologies.
01:06:02 ⏳ *Geopolitical Tension and Colonial Legacy*
    - Geopolitical tensions persist due to differing visions between the majority of Israeli political class favoring a dominant one-state solution and global powers advocating a two-state solution.
    - Historical parallels are drawn to past decolonization, emphasizing the challenge of reconciling the aspirations of the colonized with the interests of the colonial powers.
01:11:12 🇺🇳 *UN Intervention and Partition Plan*
    - Facing challenges, the British handed the Palestine issue to the UN, leading to the controversial partition plan.
    - The proposed division into Jewish and Arab states, along with an internationalized Jerusalem, was impractical and laid the groundwork for future conflicts.
01:15:08 ☠️ *Ethnic Cleansing and Nakba*
    - Zionist militias executed a ruthless plan to terrorize Palestinian villages, leading to the Nakba (catastrophe) of 1948.
    - The expulsion of 750,000 to 900,000 Palestinians from their homes and the depopulation of 500 villages marked a tragic chapter in the region's history.

    - Highlights the role of the British media in presenting a biased perspective.
01:23:55 🕊️ *Peace Processes and Betrayals*

    - Mentions King Hussein of Jordan and Yasser Arafat as examples.
01:25:21 📜 *Oslo Agreement and Betrayal of West Bank*

This new generation of unapologetic Muslims is doing great work. On one hand they get rid of the apologists presenting a sheepish, secular version of Islam that has previously left us like sitting ducks seething in shame, and on the other hand they are pulling the veil of western tolerance and 'civilization' through a very patient but eloquent dismantling of the propaganda.

Hello Paul, I personally just come across some fascinating history involvin Christian Spain and magreb centering on the great and rather unknown (atleast to me) personality that is Anselm Turmeda. The Christian priest turned Muslim through learning of the higher monks knowing the true term of parakeltos in John 14:16 to be referring to Muhammad. His story is fascinating and would recommend sharing it for the audience who wasn't aware of his works

That interpretation is NUTS, Everyone knows that the Paraclete descended on the 12 apostles at Pentencost; that was the birth of the Chruch's mission which in 300 years, without the use of violence, conquered the Roman empire. Anslem Turmeda may have had many reasons for converting but he must have known that.

    • @imbored1179
      @imbored1179 11 місяців тому +2

@@andrewphilip3308 actually the most common theories for who that is, is usually Paul or the holy Spirit. Both of which don't make any sense since Jesus needed to go away for him to arrive. And the holy Spirit was always there so it can't be him. And it most definitely is not Paul for his complete forgery of the original Christianity James and the disciples were upon and their fight in Jerusalem showed that. The common belief was that this person would be a prophet after him

    • @imbored1179
      @imbored1179 11 місяців тому +2

@@andrewphilip3308 there's also two interpretations of how that word can refer to Muhammad. Jesus in another verse refers to himself as a parclete so whatever Jesus was another would follow (I.e a prophet) and that's how early semetic Christians understood Jesus and this verse. Another prophet would arrive. It also fit with the 3 prophets predicted in the old testament. John the Baptist was 1, Jesus was the second and messiah, leaving "That prophet" remaining. The prophet that would bring the unbelieving khedarites (Arabs) from paganism to the god of Abraham in isiah 42.
However periklytos the word used in the original Greek is also a name and a title. It means the praised one and in Hebrew it's ham ma da. Aramaic and Arabic it means Ahmed. And Jesus in the Quran says "...and to give you good news of the messenger after me and his name is Ahmed" surah 61:6. Ahmed is another name for Muhammad and it means the praised one
Regardless the church is in absolutely zero agreement on who that individual is and evem what the word means and usually refer to just the holy Spirit but like I said before that's a controdiction.

When Netanyahu speaks of a two-state solution, he believes Palestinians already have a state in Jordan. It's all spelled out in chapter 9 of his 1993 book, _A Place Among the Nations_, which may be considered his _Mein Kampf_. When a tyrant tells you what he wants to do, people should pay attention.

I hope that Palestine will be truly free one day, and that the Arab leaders who betrayed them are exposed in this world, and the next.

Nahum Goldmann wrote in "The Jewish Paradox: A Personal Memoir of Historic Encounters that Shaped the Drama of Modern Jewry (1978)" as translated from the French by Steve Cox the following which explains many things:
One day, or rather night, in 1956 I sat up at his [Ben-Gurion's] house till three in the morning. That night, a beautiful summer night, we had a forthright discussion on the Arab problem.
"I don't understand your optimism" Ben-Gurion declared. "Why should the Arabs make peace? If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country. Sure, God promised it to us, but what does that matter to them? Our God is not theirs. We come from Israel, it's true, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault?
They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that? They may perhaps forget in one or two generations' time, but for the moment there is no chance. So it's simple: we have to stay strong and maintain a powerful army. Our whole policy is there. Otherwise, the Arabs will wipe us out. I'll be seventy years old soon. Well, Nahum, if you asked me whether I shall die and be buried in a Jewish State I would tell you Yes; in ten years, fifteen years, I believe there will still be a Jewish State. But ask me whether my son Amos, who will be fifty at the end of this year, has a chance of dying and being buried in a Jewish State, and I would answer: fifty-fifty."
“But how can you sleep with that prospect in mind and be PM of Israel too?" I responded.
"Who says I sleep?" was Ben-Gurion's simple reply.

First they came for the Ottomans, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Ottoman.
Then they came for the Palestine, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Palestinian
Then they came for the Bosnians, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Bosnian.
Then they came for the Afghanis, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Afghani.
Then they came for the Chechniyans, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Chechniyan.
Then they came for the Iraqis, and I did not speak out, because I was not an Iraqi.
Then they came for the Gazans, and I did not speak out, because I was not a Gazan-Palestinian
Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me.

*Although much of this information is known to people, we do not usually get the sweep of history which underpins current events in Palestine. Ultimately, although some facts of history might be new to us, being better informed can serve only to frustrate us because there is not a thing we can do about the violence being done to the Palestinian people. Most shocking of all, to some of us what is baffling is how the millions of Muslims today simply sit back and do nothing to help the Palestinians. The Jewish son-in-law of President Trump, Jared Kushner, solved the Palestinian Question as promised by his father-in-law by getting Muslim states to have normal friendly relationships with Israel by ignoring the rights of Palestinians. This is a sad indictment on Muslims. I recall a scene in the film Lawrence of Arabia where T. E. Lawrence criticizes the Arabs and accuses them of being a little people, unable to unite but clinging to tribal loyalties. I didn't understand this when I saw it as a young boy but the comment remained in my head. Today I understand what Lawrence meant.*

I'd like to thank you both Paul and Dr. Abdul Wahid for this very informative episode. Really learnt a lot. But I have a correction, at 1:26:20. The presentation includes Oman in the Abraham accords, Oman is not part of the deal, in fact there is a Royal Decree in the country which bans interaction with the Zionist entity for private and public figures and citizens are barred from making contact with individuals or entities based in Israel for any purpose, whether directly or through a third party.
