Heh classic. 1. for only cap run 4x aim7p, 2x aim9m and 1 centerline fuel tank 2. high and fast is what gives you the advantage, the lower you are the more it can be a cointoss 3. don't challenge if you are in a disadvantageous situation. For example you are mach 1 at 20k and an f16 comes at you at mach 1.5 at 40k. Just run and hide, there is no point fighting this 4. SA. Be aware of ur surroundings at all times, so don't just blindly follow one enemy, other enemies will see this and sneak up on you 5. have buddies, that one can be the hardest but not flying alone is a very very big advantage
@@reggiekoestoer1511 most of the red jets are low fidelity so they are quick tp get in the air and takes no skill to operate, but also alot of blue players are kinda braindead and just assume they are the main character cuz they are in an f18
@@agidotexe7167 yeah, but only some red jets are advantageous or on par against blu jets (flanker and viper). MiG-21s are at SEVERE disadvantage. Yet I love taking out my old miggy to look for said braindead Hornets and Eagles that fly like they're action movie heroes.

Bro is carrying 6 aim9s 😂 can i recommend running 2 sidewinders and 4 sparrows with 1 fuel tank, you will do alot better in terms of speed

After playing on contention. Red will always have air superiority. So fly choppers and stay off ewr 😎
which puzzles me to this day. Blue has all the nice stuff, F-14(!), 15C and 15E, 18. What went wrong?

In server like Contention, coordination is the key. It doesn't matter what airframe you fly.

@vandervoort88 no sir. I don't believe I've ever flown on that one. Do they not allow sparrows for your Hornet?
@@Vapor_32Sparrows are allowed by the Hornet, the viper only gets fox 2’s though. If you have the Syria map I recommend you give it a shot.
