      Curious if you would know the distance between Assiniboia, Saskatchewan and Ribstone, Battle River, Alberta (i.e. Wainwright, Red Deer)? I have ancestors who lived in Assiniboia in 1911 & 11yrs later in 1921 were living in “Ribstone, Battle River, Alberta, Canada”. Found with photos of their homestead is a map & property claim in “Wainwright, Red Deer”.

    • @sarahg1583
      @sarahg1583 3 роки тому

      @Ayden Coulson The names of towns/counties must have changed over 100+ years. The official government issued property claim (with map) clearly states "Wainwright, Red Deer".

      @@CanadianVlogs I grew up in that city and it was a safe western town. Cowboy country, farm families, and wholesome values. Filled with law abiding people, so something changed. One: the politicians are the same. Leftist mindset destroys, destroys, destroys. Two : people from other places are moving here in droves, from Vancouver, or Toronto, or from far, far away and it's destroying this city, because they bring all their crap with them. Gangs, drugs, different ideologies, different cultures, all add up to a gong show. I guess that's why I'm very protective. I want the Red Deer I use to know to come back.

    • @canadiangirl5159
      @canadiangirl5159 4 роки тому

      @@JOVIASVIDEOS Rapid crime, and drugs in Red Deer. I live out in the country, and neighbours had a thief with a truck and trailer, just drive in and cleaned them right out. Criminals a brave, probably because of the drug demands. And since this is not the US, if you shoot the thug who is on your property stealing from you, the cops will arrest you. Just a heads up on that one. Criminals are allowed to steal, and you can't stop them. Red Deer is controlled by Leftist policies and being turned into a Sh*thole just like what has been done to Edmonton, and every other city in Canada, controlled by Leftist parties. So maybe the one making these videos, should do his researcher before selling off my country. Oh, and did he mention what winters are like in Alberta? It can get so cold here, skin will freeze within minutes and a prairie winter can last for up to 6 to 7 months. So, if you're made of tough stock, you'll do just fine.

      Damn, this is a selling video. Wow. Well, heads up, Red Deer once a beautiful Western Canadian Town, and now it's just another Leftist controlled filled with crime and drugs. Winters in any prairie province can be very harsh. You know, stupid kind of cold. Skin will freeze within minutes. That kind of cold. And in Alberta, winters last for months. 6, 7 months. Edmonton, the city that betrayed the hurting people of Alberta when they re-elected that radical far Leftist party again, is already turning into a sh*thole. Once a beautiful Western Canadian city, filled with beautiful Western Canadian culture, now unrecognizable. You might want to avoid that one.
