It chose me. When I became homeless after losing my car (see prev vids) I had some Flex work in Birkenhead so stayed at some Air B&B's for a few nights, so I had a roof over my head, and then contacted Shelter to help me get a flat. I started in Birkenhead then moved over to Liverpool when I got a job there with the Isle of Man Steam Packet co, and have stayed here ever since.
What about the lovely cafe in the visitors centre I am over 80 and walk in this park with a Nordic walking group even in winter if the sun is out we can sit outside with our coffee During the pandemic we walked everyday in this park
Yes, I walked past it, it was very pretty and clean, but I bet it's prices were high. It was lovely sitting on the benches in the garden just by the cafe, and I had already brought some food to eat.
dDangerous place, nice as it is I certainly wouldn't walk round central park on my own :( I've lived a long time on the Wirral, west Kirby n Hoylake are the places to visit.
