I met this guy in the parking of the sector just 2 days ago. He has over 100 flutes and makes them himself. What a legend, and talented guy, he even let me play bit.😂
I missed watching the king climb so much! So glad see him push hard again! It reminds me how pshyched i was 10 years ago, when i started climbing and watching his videos everyday!
King lines for sure but i think it’s his climbing style that sets him apart. He climbs differently, he’s more athletic, he flows from side to side, cuts feet a lot. A perfect example is biographie all the other ascentionists look like they have their body face the wall more and their progression is more stop and go.
It occurred to me that in the endless hours I have watched of Chris climbing, I've never seen him use a kneebar 🤔 Crazy that he got to the last move fifteen times before finally redpointing.
Damn, this just reminded me of another amazing climber that I remember watching when I was growing up. By some crazy coincidence, his name was also Chris Sharma, but this was a long time ago (probably like 20 years ago). He looked kinda similar, like a California stoner version of this Spanish dude. Anyway, I wonder if he's still climbing because he's gotta be pretty old now...
Agreed. It's so raw and soulful and somatic, yet technically excellent. It's different from watching Ondra climb, who strikes me as technically perfect, but sterile.
We were there in November 22. Incredible, watching him and Toni warming up on 7c - my limit 🤣. Really stunning to the the moves, fails & evolution in such detail. Love it!
se habla de una leyenda. se dice que por las montañas se vuelven a escuchar sus gritos, Sharma el único, inigualable, un mito real que cambio el orden de la naturaleza.
One time this professional climber from California, really strong, surfer looking dude said to a young developing Adam Ondra: "A well oiled climbing machine". I tip my hat back to you sir, smooth and precise!
As an old fart who has climbed all over California, and done atrip to Smith Rocks,in Oregon,it's easy to see why Chris now lives in Spain.I also once had a chance to climb the linestone outside Innsbruck,Austria.
Who the hell is the longhair guy with the flute? Looks like he was playing it while Chris was attempting La Dura Dura as well. What is he, Chris's spellsinger?
Oh again, another great ascent blocked by money. I guess I will head up to La Dura Dura or Silence video again since I will not pay 120$ to watch one ascent.
@@rdtarcade7644 GOAT = Greatest of all Time. You have to be on the top of the game for a long time to achieve that. No offense to the Hubers but they are definitely not the GOATS of climbing.
@@seanclimb according to your logic though they should be as they were still doing 8c multipitches and nose speed record in the 2010s so they were older than sharma is now
Those holds suck, crazy he can use them on such a steep route, especially near the top. Its one thing being able to bear down for a move or two on garbage sloped crimps, but doing 30M on a steep wall with nothing but that trash is otherwordly.
Watching sharma try hard always gets me psyched
So psyched!
That’s a weird way to spell hard
Never get sick of watching the man.
Or listening to him talk
Glad they brought that flute guy back from the dura dura video. Really adds to the vibe.

does anyone know what type of flute that is?
because that sound is surreal

so true
Damn! Why do Sharma lines always look so much more inspiring than others? This is what hard climbing should look like!!!

Hands down the best rock climber to watch. Just awesome. Love Tenaya's Indalos too.
Sharma is a living legend! Insane that he can still pull it off with the sheer determination tactics! Can't wait for the full movie!

He's probably smoking weed somewhere with that Graham guy
Is the same guy
Que grande Chris! 41 pirulos y sigue fuerte. Increible.
watching great climbers always makes me miss being able to climb again. ahh the memories !
Why no more climbing?
Sharma has the most beautiful climbing style from anyone I've ever seen, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Nice work Ricardo on capturing some awesome sports action!
holy shit, this is some of the coolest climbing footage i've ever seen. what a surprise!
Why is watching sharma the best? I love it
WOW amazing footage, honestly this is the stuff i wanna see
I cannot WAIT to see this film 🤤
That's the most human Ive seen Chris. Like that it feels like when I climb. Vamos dale ahí duro!
Love watching the real process. Lots of frustration, failure and slow progress
Love watching Sharma climb! Btw hes lookin badass with that beard!
"Climbing is also my escape", well said Dude ! :)
What an incredible guy!
Still is and will always be the King of his King lines and what a King line this is - es perfecto no?
0:20 was the cleanest little kick over I’ve ever seen
What a KING line 🔥
Such an exciting style of climbing! He's such a predator on the wall :)
😎😎😎😎👏👏👏👏…..bellissimo video , grande Chris….👍👍
Looks clear to me that Sharma choses his projects according to the echo of the crag
There isn't a single rest on this thing. And each move looks so insane. Holy shit.
Looks freaking insanely hard.

Why not release the actual raw attempts from the ground up? Really a shame this is cut up so agressively
Cool ad. Thanks
What an inspiration, legend

alright, i got to ask, who is the flute guy i see hanging around in every sharma ascent
Speaks Spanish, swears English. Love it
Does anybody know what shoes he’s wearing?
Seeing that this is sponsored by Tenaya... one of their models.

They're Tenaya. Their straps are pretty instantly recognizeable
