I pedaled my way out there a few weeks ago and found the gate wide open! (The padlock labeled T.) I took the invitation and rode up to upper 236 where there were more closed signs and had to lift my bike over the gate to get back out to 9. Checked back again an hour later and the gate on China Grade was closed again. You'd be screwed if they locked it with your motorcycle inside! Those gates are fitted tight and very steep to the sides. It was good to see that road again for the first time in a year. The intersection with upper 236 is pretty desolate. Wide-open views were there used to be none! With the recent 7 acre flare up out there I imagine it'll be a while yet before they open the roads, much less the park, unfortunately.

Yeah I tried to gauge if I could fit the moto by the gate. I felt like it might just fit, but I wouldn't want to count on it. I oughta pull out the ole pedal bike and go up there like you.
