An acrochordon, commonly known as a skin tag, is a small, benign (non-cancerous) growth that appears on the skin. These growths are usually flesh-colored, soft, and can be smooth or wrinkled. Skin tags are most commonly found in areas where the skin folds, such as the neck, armpits, groin, and under the breasts.
**Key points about acrochordons:-
1)Size :- They can range from a few millimeters to a few centimeters in size.
2)Cause :- While the exact cause is unknown, they are often associated with friction, obesity,diabetes, and pregnancy. Genetics may also play a role.
3)Symptoms :- Skin tags are generally painless and harmless, but they can become irritated if they are rubbed by clothing or jewelry.
4)Treatment :- They often do not require treatment. However, if they are bothersome or unsightly, they can be removed by methods such as freezing (cryotherapy), cutting off (excision), or burning off (cauterization).
It's important to note that while skin tags are benign, any new or changing growths on the skin should be evaluated by a healthcare provider to rule out other conditions.

একটা হলেই Dr দেখাতে হবে না একাধিক হলে ? আমার গলায় একটা হয়েছে, লাল টুকটুকে হয়ে আছে , ডেলিভারির দেড় বছর পর এরকম হয়েছে। কোনো ব্যাথা ,চুলকুনি নেই
