I think you may have cracked the code with the issues I was having with TP. The forced resolution not being supported by the Deck's screen. Thanks for the effort it took to get this running and sharing that info!

The only game I managed to get working with teknoparrot on steam deck was Star Wars Battle Pod a while ago, have to give this a try now, thanks.
You need to play this with a 1080p monitor though, try my video for mario kart arcade gp dx.

I've done initial d stage zero ver. 2.3 on steam deck and legion go. legion go can use the aime to save but somehow steam deck can't use aime to save.

The Luigi's Mansion trilogy is mostly doable on the Steam Deck, but seeing the arcade version running on there is a real breakthrough!

@@GrownUpGamingGUG That's great. It'll be even better once Luigi's Mansion 2 HD comes out and becomes compatible, which would make it easier to play it on a single screen device. I will buy the game on Switch when it does comes out, but I'll still hold onto the 3DS original just for the benefit of the 3D feature if I want it.

@@GrownUpGamingGUG Great! What was the method? I have Luigi working fine now through lutris wine. But can’t get Outrun, Rambo or HOTD4 to run using exactly the same method and dependencies as Luigi. They just crash after being stuck on inititializing for a while. Any ideas please 🙏
You can run TC5 independently of Teknoparrot on Steam Deck
Do you know the launch options to open the game directly as opposed to going to the teknoparrot menu first?

Protontricks is not installing v2010. game mode says I need .net framework v4.0.3 any suggestions? Thanks dude

what plugin did you use for the art work? also can I have the same in the windows version of steam?
Do this ua-cam.com/video/bfPuT8WgVzs/v-deo.html it's a steam deck plugin so don't think it works for windows.

Is it to possibly set this up so we can launch the games directly on steam OS without going through the emulator menu first?
I'm still a newbie at this. There's a program called jconfig and I'm using it with lutris to play mario kart arcade gp dx, it directly boots into the game but the settings are different from teknoparrot. Will make a video for that later. As for teknoparrot, I'm not sure if you can direct boot into game.

The emulator doesn't come with the game.
Question it actually Work but it’s not on screen size. it all the way zoom in I only see just a quarter size of the screen in Luigi’s mansion but it doesn’t show the whole thing. What kind I do please help me
In gaming mode, go into properties of teknoparrot shortcut. Set resolution to 1920x1080 and also turn on "set resolution for internal and external display".
The funny thing is that once I look for that resolution it doesn’t appear on the game setting or steam deck itself.

I tried this one and it loads fine but the resolution is not right. Most of the game is cut off and I am only seeing the top left of the game on the steam deck

Yes I've seen it been done but not much information about it online. Needs a server program to be installed and that itself needs dependencies and is quite complicated itself.

I got it installed. Took around 15-20 minutes.
How did you do it? Mine just stops after installing 4.0
@@guybarker9547 I'm using proton-experimental, maybe it feels like it stop but it's actually installing in the background. Also make sure your internet is good as it downloads and install.
I am using proton experimental also, I get some 32 bit warnings, so I ok them , then wait and get hit with this screen. “Same or higher version of .NET framework 4 has already been installed on this computer”. The continue button is greyed out and I have no option but to close the window
