Gavin Meyer is incredibly athletic and will easily put on 15 to 20 pounds over the next three months. I just love how people keep trash talking USC defense like nothing has happened in the off-season. Can’t wait for LSU and the season fight on.✌️

So what’s gonna happen when Lincoln Riley actually has an average or better defense? That’s what people need to realize. Almost beat Georgia in the playoff at OU with a below average defense. Favorite CFB page on UA-cam, keep it rockin’ man ✌️

USC with a top 50 defense the last two years would have competed for two national championships. Grinch's defensive scheme cost USC both wins and high level recruits. The BIG 10 should not scare USC in any way, just line up and play football.
Our cornerbacks and secondary coverage is exceptionally good. You are right, we will stack the box with our safeties and just go man on man coverage. I do not see an elite arm in the big 10 the threaten us downfield.

There is only 2, maybe 3 teams better than USC in the big 10. If anyone is surprised about them being above average next year, they just strongly dislike the program and/or Lincoln riley
I kinda think Anthony Lucas is an interesting player to watch
100 percent agree. Was super intrigued with him last year, just did not seem to get the opportunity. Super gifted and could play inside if USC needs. Love that shoutout.

The biggest difference won't be talent, USC is always pretty talented. The difference is expectations & accountability on the defensive side of the ball.
Physicality versus being soft under Grinch. It will be day vs night baby.
The travel schedule, across the country, across time zones, is going to impact West Coast teams much more than most people are anticipating - USC at Maryland, for example. One would think the Trojans should win that game, but likely they won’t.
I don’t think it will impact Oregon as much as other teams as they are one of the superior team
@@marcusfenix5038 actually, I think it will impact every Big Ten team. The geography footprint is really large and I think it’s going to take some time for the conference and the teams to adjust. Likely, it will lead to unexpected losses this year in the Big Ten.

People talk without looking at tape this guy is Correct. The Big10 is a bunch of 1 dimensional teams with the exception of maybe 3 teams. USC won't see a passing game until they Play Washington and UCLA and maybe Notre Dame
Kinda how I see it as well. Not sure how many offenses will be able to just outscore USC in 2024. Just not that many good offenses in the Big 10. (Coming from a Michigan fan)😂
Teams like USC don’t really stop the run. It’s just that they get up on their opponents so quickly that the opponent has no choice but mostly abandoned the run and pass the ball. And so the statistics are somewhat misleading. The defensive talent and coaching seems to be there this year, so let’s find out if it’s real.
The big 10 is boring and slow football, USC has never been afraid of that conference check the overall records. O by the way you zero’s I mean ducks keep dreaming.

You're still giving USC the benefit of the doubt. Once they do something, team related, that drum can be beat, but until then, they have more in common with the Dallas Cowboys than the Kansas City Chiefs. As many will say, we are in wait and see mode.

Folks. I’m the biggest USC fan out there but this is a moribund program. It is very conceivable we go 4-8 next year or 3-9 even. Wouldnt surprise me if we lost to Rutgers. Fight On I suppose
They are and will be the fifth best team in the Big Ten. That still could be good enough to make the playoff though.
Probably... Some people seem to think they're going to be terrible. They have a really good defensive coaching stuff now.... It's going to take time for for the defense to be really good.... They could be good enough to surprise some people. They have a really tough schedule this season though so... I'm not expecting anything too crazy
Yeah schedule for sure is not easy. Just not sure how many teams in the Big 10 will be able to score with USC. No doubt plenty of question marks on defense, but its hard to trust a lot of these Big 10 offenses to outscore USC. Going to be a fun team to watch.

The last time Ohio State (future Big 10 opponent and BCS champion) was in the Holiday Bowl was 1993. The Buckeyes haven't been that booty in 31 years. The Trojans will be in the Big 10 basement.
