- I thought @OlaElectric are just making scooters!? They produce everything in India in a massive Building which they call Future Factory! Blows my mind! Well, THIS I‘d buy for my next electric motorcycle adventure because let’s be real, there’ll be the day I need a new bike! Unfortunately this is just one of their prototypes but I hope they give me a call once it goes in production 🤞I also gave their latest and fastest Scooter S1 a go and boy this things pulls! Ola is an Indian ev automobile manufacturer that makes electric scooters and bikes and now they are expanding their domain in AI too 😂

All ev scooters in India work the same. You get used to it pretty quickly and use the regen to slow. It's a scooter and not designed for serious fast riding.

I mean why would the need fast chargers. Fast chargers are for consumers. This is a factory. I don't think they allow customers to visit anyway. They would require a fast battery charger inside the factory instead of a vehicle charger.

Man, that is really a huge factory they have build there. Very kind of them to let you visit the place and let you ride a scooter. That's already good marketing from them because a lot of Indians are watching your videos. I'm sure if they would give you a bike for free and needed support because they know what vlogs like these can do for them. They have so many plans to spread their products in all over the world.. basically they are just trying to be the TEALA OF 2 WHEELER in the World...They are already the most selling ev 2 wheeler brand in India...soon they will launch Bikes,Cars, trucks.. Ladakh should be avoided by people with heart disease coz tourists are prone to breathing issues due to high elevation level from sea. Esp at the khar dung la pass and chang la pass. People have actually died due to low oxygen!! Plus ladakh has electricity problems as well. Not for someone with an e bike imo

Once you reach Ladakh, its mandatory to rest for 2 days in hotel, hostel, homestay and dont do anything strainous, so that your body acclimatize to high altitude. Precautionary step required and from any local store, buy altitude sickness medicine and oxygen can. These are available over the counter, no prescription needed and reasonably cheap to buy. From any local tour and travels shop while resting, have all the passes made depending on the route you planning to take, even us Indians do that, as doing by yourself is complicated and time consuming as hell. Plan atleast 15-20 days trip, preferably a month, dont rush it, best trip ever, and you will get content for 1000's of hrs of video people would love seeing, which you can even release later if people demand more, can that trip can easily result in picking up a ton of new subscribers, its always high in demand.

Keep dreaming because Lithium tech has major flaws, not only it is expensive, once it catches fire, it burns and don't stop. It has limited life of few years and then you have to pay for battery again, it is more than what you save with petrol. Charges takes long time, imagine the queues in major cities and each vehicle needing more than 30 mins? What about the range? The extreme cold and hold is also bad for the battery, the issue in the US prove that once again. Hydrogen is far better alternative.
Bhakt spotted. What exactly is Modi and his cronies pushing for apart from going with the cool EV trend which is a market that n number of countries are catering to? We are already late to the EV party and China have stolen the March on us

Hey Marc I'm a brand strategist. I would really love it if you expand on your relationship with different EV makers and brands as someone who uses Electric Motorcycles regularly. Until now high paying individuals or popular influencers used to associate with EVs and EV makers because it made them look cooler and hence it became a win win. But now as EVs get more commoditised influencers obviously don't see it as a win-win proposition. And/or is it that maybe you are also interested in being patrons for other brands too. Maybe with your insight me and other communication designers would be able to understand how to approach and compensate influencers like you. thanks in advance :)

Dude! It is SO good to be following an "adventure rider" who prefers ripping tight tarmac to stand up like a meerkat gravel crap. Another HUGE well done getting a centre stand. A travel bike without a centre stand is a waste of time, regardless of it's fuel.

How much information is India known. Electro motors with inertia balancing Dynamo are produced in India. Tests have been done recently. Inerce Dynamo generator helps to maintain the power of the electric motor. Reduce battery drain. Still in test version. These models will be in use soon.
You can turn off that function when you push the breaks throttle won't go away then it's in the system settings.

I believe they're doing this to reduce break disk wearing during heavy traffic in indian cities. Although this is only seems to present in ola scooters or some cheap Chinese scooters.
Damn, man. Being a foreigner I am really surprised by the way you navigate through the Indian roads and Indian traffic. I live outside of India and whenever I come to India my dad warns me not to take out the bike as he thinks I can no longer handle Indian traffic

The only Indian motorbike I know is TVS because this motorbike is very fuel efficient and the price is affordable

All the parts are locally made & supplied.. From engine to headlamps , body everything..
For now battery is sourced from China.. But ola is soon going to make their own battery
First it needs to strengthen the chassis in the scooters. Especially if it plans to export the scooters in Europe or other markets. Europeans are taller and heavier.

The break Power cut off is supposed to be safety feature. A lot of women riders false throttle which can lead to accidents.
I guess they can give an option to enable or disable that.

Why throttle off by pressing break...its dangerous....atleast they should provide option to off that disgusting feature. Probably provides 20km extra mileage....but fatal in city signals....please provide option to off the trottle cut off while breaking....ather and Vida is not having that throttle cut off making them conventional bikes to ICE

Apparently there seems to be issues with the monitoring setup charging stations around the world. Caused by non standard aka priority software that when it encounters any outsets in or out will not charge. Like if a gas nozzle had to accept a gas fill neck that was to narrow or to wide that could not fill unless the neck was a specific size. If the detected voltages are not agreed on the charger will not charge. It's a great safety feature it just creates serious issues due to the many non standard priority proprietary software applications can not talk to one another correctly...
