- Mere minutes after uploading my last video about Sterns next title - I get this image. So, here is the layout for Elvira. Let's talk about it. Uploading directly to public - due to the current embargo it may get pulled. We shall see.
Have you seen the Stern/Deadflip stream play of this yet? It actually looks a lot more fun and interesting than I thought it would. The first-play on the stream basically answers all your questions. This new Elvira game looks surprisingly good. Even has lots of new Elvira footage shot just for the pin, and she still looks real good!
Yes, I have seen it. I wanted to do a video, but havent yet.

That play field looks really awesome it reminds me of a combo of Haunted House and Adams Family.
Looks pretty sweet so far. Can’t wait to see some hi res pictures. Really interested about the trunk shot.
looks pretty f'ing rad..very reminiscent of Medieval Madness with the house shot..I don't like 8k price tags..but ..it looks cool..
here in europe it costs almost 11k for the Limited Edition , Lol

Center ramp was designed as a lift ramp but don’t know if stern kept it that way.

Apart from over the outlanes, there are usually red flasher domes where the ball ejects are to alert the player. Just sayin'. ;-)
Might want to have the Getaway lit up on the intro.
lol, that getaway is work in progess. Future content for sure.
I told him the same thing. He actually had a working Getaway here for about a week. I told him he should shoot a panel for chroma key purposes, at least. He assured me there was method to his madness. Knowing him like I do, he's got something epic planned. We'll have to wait and see.

I think the 4 deadhead statue targets will lift up when hit - like the frogs do in Scared Stiff.I don't think that the VUK on the right will be able to fire the ball over the complete playfield into the trunk on the left. The games firing balls over the playfield like Houdini or Aerosmith do this with a catapult-like mechanism, not with a VUK.Great Video though, I appreciate your thoughts about Elvira 3.
I feel like your cross playfield cannon to trunk shot idea seems far fetched. My guess is hitting the 36-24-36 targets will open the trunk but hitting the single flashing target from the cannon would open it in one shot.
One other thing you seem to neglect is where does the ball go after entering the front door ramp? Does it trickle to the basement vuc to be shot out? Maybe the cannon through a subway? The back of the playfield into the pops?
I agree with everything you stated. Launching across the PF (although cool idea) would be a bad thing over time. The house more than likely feeds the pops or comes out the back to feed the orbits.
There is no way that Vuk shoots across field into that little trunk. It will simply dispatch balls onto the playfield. Just take a simple look st the Vauk and the chest area.... the design doesn’t even imply that this would be possible... at least on these images. Why would there be 2 entrances to it anyway. The trunk will look like homers lounge re holding balls. There’s something on the backboard to behind the right ramp. Also there seems to be shnicktttt shot like on dead pool.
without a doubt I dont think that VUK will do it either. But if it did - that would be cool to see. that would be a breaking things for sure though. lol. All we got is speculation at this point.

I've been excited about this for 1 1/2 years now untill I heard the rumor of no pro version. I'm no longer excited. I hope that is a false rumor.
Believe me Stern is going to milk this dry. There will be a pro model and probably a home model and hell maybe even a car model. Lmao

I think its Elvira, The Pin. Plastic ramps, nothing in the middle, perhaps just the pro and premium might be better ( if there is a basement, maybe a second playfield in the middle? ) Looks like not as wonderful as previous Elvira games tbh.
