Wow! What a great video and I love your gentle personality! I'm on the hunt for a used EHOH and your video was the most helpful I have seen, not only showing a great game but explaining the rules as you went along. Thank you. This helps me a lot!
Great to hear and thanks for watching! In case you weren't aware, Stern just put this game back into production and added a new "Blood Red Kiss Edition", but it's $$$. A used one is a great choice, though - best of luck finding one, they are out there!
Great video...I'm shopping for an Elvira and the common these is some have been a repair nightmare - optos, the vuk, etc. What was your experience? Also, Elvira or Batman? lol. I'm torn between the two.
Elvira was a machine I borrowed, and the owner had it dialed in fairly well. I did notice the sideways VUK shot across the playfield would sometimes miss the targets, which I hear is common on this machine. Otherwise it was reliable the entire time I had it. Super great game! So is Batman 66, however. Between those two I think I have a slight preference for Batman, but they're both amazing and you can't go wrong with either of them.
This is unfortunately the only premium table I live near. All the other ones made by Stern at my local barcades are the cheaper pro versions, so I have a feeling I’ll be playing this one the most.
I love you channel and approach to Pinball videos! I've been thinking of trying to hunt one in my area to add to my collection. Longevity wise, in a small home collection, what do you think fairs best between AIQ, Jurassic Park, and EHOH?
Thank you for watching and for the nice compliment! In terms of those three games, you can't go wrong with any of them - all three are top-tier phenomenal games. Having owned the first two and now borrowed the third for a few months now, though, what I'd say is AIQ and JP are a notch more difficult than EHOH. So if you're looking for a real challenge, go for either of those. Not that EHOH is easy mind you! But it's a bit more approachable. Demand is high for all three of those games though, so it may come down to what you can find/what's available. Good luck!
Hello. Thanks for the tutorial. At 31:08 and 43:26 when you shoot the center ramp (house), the shoot count as a loop for "drive me crazy", I have the same issue sometimes with my pinball, I think the game count the shoot as the left orbit, and sometimes my left orbit didn't register the shoot (I tested the switch in the top left corner and he work well), do you know how to fix them?
Wow, you really have to pay close attention to the screen to notice it show quickly the shots left for "drive me crazy", yes! Never noticed that before. Sadly I only had this game on loan for a few weeks, and have since given it back to the owner - I don't have access to it anymore to be able to try to root-cause this. Maybe someone will chime in here with a solution, but other than that, I'd suggest checking with the owners club thread on Pinside. Surely if this game and yours both have this problem, others probably do, too! Good luck and thanks for watching!
Scared Stiff is my “wizard” table so I’ve always loved this team. Here, the ONLY bummer is the choice to put those film frames on the ramps! 😣🤦♂️ I’d go as far as to wait for some 3rd-party ‘deckles’ (or even just _chrome_ em) before I’d buy this. And b’lee’me, I REALLY WANT to!
You think so? Hm not sure I see it myself, but all good! When I first played this game, I thought "Medieval Madness" - the house and lock shots are similar to the castle and lock shots on MM. But with that said, other than those two shots being similar, they play totally differently! Thanks for watching.
Nice playfield lighting 😍 fun to see
Best Elvira video yet
Great video, glad we got to see a solid game in the second half too! Now I know where to look for what shots to take throughout the game.

Pro versions may be a bit simplified but for the most part are just as fun to play. I’ll take a Godzilla pro over no Godzilla, for example!

You may be able to simply remove them? Sounds like you might prefer the look of bare ramps…
How’s your TZ coming along?
Unfortunately slower than I would like! But the machine should be really great when it's all done. Thanks for watching!
A little Like Star trek
