Has anyone else noticed Christmas has REALLY gotten into being the faithful, helpful, dedicated dog in the last few days? She is so freaking happy she keeps getting under foot. I don't think she could be more grateful. I love her!
I am so proud Jami of those two just jumping in and learning VERY DIFFICULT tractor skills,,, Those two are invincible and their love and respect for each others shows Muchly to coin Lester's English,,, which I love ! why not? Jami you did good in raising Xander,,, makes a momma proud!
I can see why you’re so proud of Xander and Kendra. They are always willing and eager to be taught everything it takes to care for the animals and all the work it takes too operate a farm on a daily basis.
Every farm needs a tractor pro. 👍 That’s gold star driving and backing especially loading and unloading hay for the first time. Not easy and it takes skill and practice. Impressive job everyone. 🚜🍦for Trixie. She told me she needs to go for a ride and get a cone. 😂. She is a sweet dog. So observant. 🐾🐶
Good morning Jami. It's always good to see your family visiting and learning all about farming. I'm not sure if it would help, but maybe when you get someone to come out to weld an area for the hay, maybe put a gate there kinda like the gate you have where you load the animals into the trailer? I know with a bull gates and fences are just a suggestion for them. I grew up helping my stepdad and brother on the farm. They had about 200 head of cattle and I was always told that a fence is just a suggestion for the cattle to have boundaries. I was taught that even though you feel comfortable around the animals not to let your guard down. I'm sure that Lester and you are extremely proud of all your children. Hopefully you're feeling better. Have a wonderful day! Much Love from our family to your family 💞
I was going to suggest putting a bull gate behind the hay as well. @scannfamily4863 you are so right about fences just being a suggestion. If cattle/horses/dogs or whatever want out, they will find or make a way out. I had a horse as a teenager that we nicknamed Houdini. We would get calls " Nikita is in my front yard again " at least twice a month. Thankfully we have nice neighbors. We have no idea to this day how he was getting out. We walked fence every other day and never found any weak spots or holes. All we could think he jumped. My Mum started calling him Mouse because he could sneak through anything. Jami, it was great to see the kids enjoying helping out on the farm. And I agree, every new experience teaches something you can use in the future if needed. Many wishes to all of you, Morrows/extended family and other followers in the coming New Year! Much love to all! 💕💕💕🤗💕💕💕
@@nancystanton955 I farm sat for a couple who had a houdini, I happened to catch sight of him laying down near a low spot and ROLLING under the fence, up and gone. They laughed when I called in a panic and said yeah, he does that a lot. He always went to a pasture with horses (rolling under their fence) and those people knew him and didn't mind an extra occasionally... Brat.
@terramarini6880 amazing isn't it what will do. Our fences are all post and rail. We have rails 6 inches from the ground to prevent foals from rolling out.
I like the mini tractor. I think it's really useful & easier to use for a lot of jobs around the farm. It also saves some wear & tear on the big tractor. I can't wait to see how you utilize the mini tractor when it comes to preping for your big garden next spring.
What a new experience learning how to use the tractors. Kendra did a really good job with the little tractor. Xander drove the big tractor like a pro. They both learn so much each time they come to visit. I know they have put the chemicals in the ISS pond and now they know how to do that with ease. They are doing great with driving the tractors. I think its great they both are learning how to do everything on the farm and ranch. I think Xander and Kendra are having alot of fun learning it all.💘💘
Great video. Good to see your kids learning how to run a tractor. Me I’m a city gal. Never been near or on one. I love watching farming channels. If I had another life I must of been a farmer’s daughter. I’m living vicariously through all the farms I’m watching and learning so much. Never too old to learn new things. I’m 78 years young!
Good morning Jami. Love seeing the “ kids” learn new skill. Kendra looked cute on the mini tractor. Xander did a great job staying focused and Lester always the teacher. You have every right to be proud of them🧡
I love how involved everyone gets when they are there. You both are creating memories to last a lifetime Thank you for sharing this memory with us. Christmas is the gift that just keeps giving, she is forever thankful to you both. Stay safe 🙏✌️🤗💚🐾
Zander has such a mature and positive attitude about learning farm equipment and farm life. I love smart, hardworking young adults. Be PROUD, Jami, we all know that not all kids are as successful. As always, Lester is a great teacher. Kendra you go girl, you masteted that little tractor like a pro. Yes, I remember little spoon 😂😂😂 saying he would never be caught on your baby tractor. 😂😂 ❤❤❤❤
I think that was so cool of Lester to teach Zander an Kendra on how to use the tractors. He is so much patients when it comes to showing others how to do something like that
Loved Seeing Xander & Kendra Join In On Tractor Duties Around The Farm. I Know Jami You Have Spoken On Xander Being In Electrical, But Idk If You Have Ever Spoken On Kendra & Her Job Title, Or If She Is A Homemaker. I Was Just Thinking As We Never Know What They May Do In Life, Who Knows They May Have Them A Big Farm Someday. Love Seeing Their Little Relationship Blossom. ❤️🙏🏼
I have faith in Kendra Jami. Zander too. There both made for Texas an Country Living an I love it!!! Jami this is "GOLDEN"! Wonderful memories with Mom an kids an family. Yeah , Lester loves the little tractor. 😅
I about died 😂when you said “She will dump you a$$ out and run you over. “ 😂. I think we are looking at two new future farmers of America. Great video Jamie. Be safe ❤😊❤
Good morning Jami. Kendra did really good on the mini tractor for the first time driving that one. Xander may have been slow but to make progress and don't feel to intimidated that is the way to go. He actually did great for driving the big tractor as he has driven the little one. Each time they come and do the chores and move items around the better/faster you can do it and the chore becomes easier. My first time learning on a tractor was an old 1963 Ford with 3 on the floor and I used it to rake and dry the hay field. But they didn't warn me when coming up off the field to make sure I was facing straight onto the roadway and not be on the ditch side. I had a rake behind me and almost flipped the tractor and the rake. Was a bit afraid after that but did it for a few seasons got used to it. Thanks for sharing and hope Thursday night goes great as Lex should be there today to celebrate your second Christmas. HAGD.
II have driven tractors. Old tractors not new ones. They are scary when you get up and see how high up you are. It takes a few times to get used to them and learn that's for sure. Great job Xander and Kendra.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if they decided to move down there and be a part of the farm? I’m sure your mama’s heart would love that! They both are naturals at farm work!
SHE DID A GOOD JOB FOR TRYING WITH THE HAY===HE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH HIS HAY ALSO THANKS FOR GIVING TE KIDS EXPERANCE OF SOME THINGS ON THE FARM 🥰🥰🥰
just a suggestion, but to stop Tex’s , always ramming through the smaller bale/roll once it is eaten down, why not put a gate on your side of the fence that can be open to put the hay in,and closed once the bale/roll is inserted to that area? A steel gate would be a heck of a lot cheaper than a whole steel surround.
The kids are doing great. Till you could get some one out to weld you a metal hay area where cattle keep tearing up the wooden fences, at the back maybe temporarily Lester could rig up one of metal long gates to keep them from breaking out.
Why can't you just place a gate in front of the feeder? Awesome job on the trainings of tractor skill with the young ranchers. Lester you have great patience with your skills.
Did you notice when that man came to do the Santoro trade, Lester had to make sure he knew that he was pushing Santoro forward into his trailer with is “wife’s tractor”! lol he didn’t want to loose any man points if that other Longhorn rancher though he had a tiny tractor 😂That wasn’t Longhorn Lester-ish
Last time I drove a tractor I was about 6 or 7 years old and I almost hit the barn turning around. Never got back on (Not sure if it was mom or my grandfather who never suggested it again -- lol)
Has anyone else noticed Christmas has REALLY gotten into being the faithful, helpful, dedicated dog in the last few days? She is so freaking happy she keeps getting under foot. I don't think she could be more grateful. I love her!
I love her too and noticed she is seemingly more for Lester now and is wherever he is.
yes, she has come into her own.
I was talking about that the other day. She seems to know what to do to help at that moment. She has a strong spirit within her.
She really has
Jami, it's so beautiful watching Xander and Kendra learning tractor skills. They both did so well!

Awesome how Lester is so patient when teaching. Xander is also so patient with Kindra. Love how he’s also teaching everyday. ❤❤
Still a teacher at heart
Good morning everyone ☀️. I've ridden a tractor, but never driven one without someone helping me. Looks like Kendra and Xander are having fun.
The small tracktor has been a big blessing ❤

I am thinking maybe Uriel might know a good welder.

Hell Lester would be literally yelling at me 😂😂! Great job Xander and Kendra! You both will be good ranchers one day!!
LESTER, Forever the teacher. Sharing the gift of knowledge, no matter the lesson, to so many “students”. What a blessing to pay forward. 😊💞
glad to see how willing the kids are to learning all those new skills
Lester is always a good teacher! Great job, kids!
Kendra and Xander did an awesome job!! It's good that they're learning skills just in case if they need it. Thanks for sharing
Great teaching moment! Both Kendra and Xander did well!! #tractorskills
I think that was so cool of Lester to teach Zander an Kendra on how to use the tractors. He is so much patients when it comes to showing others how to do something like that

And Lester, the Dad is right there coaching his kids on. Couldn’t ask for a better Dad!
The kids looked like pros for cityslickers! I wanna drive a tractor so bad! Just do a little digging and grating....just play!😊

I wish Lester was my teacher in school 😊Awesome step dad to Xander.God bless you all 🙏
Watching Kendra and Zander , I started singing , green acres is the place to be. Farm living is the life for me. Land spreading out so far and wide.
Great job guys! So proud of y'all! Such a good skill to have! ❤❤❤
Never hurts to learn. I was driving tractors when I was 6 years old and had my daughter driving tractors when she was young too.
He very patient and very mature for a young men. Jami you should be proud of Zanders.
The teacher in Lester continues to shine through!
Handsome Xander & Beautiful Kendra looked happy doing farm stuff . ❤❤❤
Great video Jamie the kids did a wonderful job!
Yes, it's not easy. I drove a tractor a few time about 40 years ago,, WHILE I was very pregnant. But that's a story unto itself. 😁
Jami he can do no wrong in your eyes so funny, he was creeping along in the tractor and you made it a plus haha
Could you put a big opening gate where you put the hay in besides the welding you are talking about. That might help with Tex the escape artist.
Good job the kids did. Lester is a great teacher🚜
II have driven tractors. Old tractors not new ones. They are scary when you get up and see how high up you are. It takes a few times to get used to them and learn that's for sure. Great job Xander and Kendra.
They both did pretty good, you can only learn by hands on experience
They both did very well and only practice makes perfect.
Good job.

You have and are continuing to create a legacy. Way to go
Could I suggest that you put a gate on that hay feeder so Tex can forget about it. 😮
I love the baby tractor it's awesome....the dogs are watching like ..what's happening 😂
I think it is wonderful that the kids are getting the experience on the ranch and the tractor. One day they will need to know.
They look like they were having fun and making memories.
Awesome job Kendra and Xander!!!
They hay says, "Zander don't leave me!"
I like the way the dogs are with yall on everything y'all do Christmas jumping up to Lester was so cute
SHE DID A GOOD JOB FOR TRYING WITH THE HAY===HE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH HIS HAY ALSO THANKS FOR GIVING TE KIDS EXPERANCE OF SOME THINGS ON THE FARM 🥰🥰🥰
Give your son some credit there Jami...he seems to be pretty knowledgeable
Wow! Lester has really nice calves 😊 and no, I'm not talking about the 4 legged variety 🤣
Way to go, Kendra and Zander !! ❤❤
Great job Kendra and Xander 🥰🥰
Confidence builder. After all he lives in IL which has PLENTY of tractors!!
Maybe Trixie needs some dog CBD, too. I noticed how painful her hind end was hurting when Zander was backing out with the big tractor 😢 Minute 5:15
For city kids they sure do a great job on tractor.
The kid's did fantastic. 😊👍🏻
Xander and Kendra can do anything they put their minds to.
Hi Jami - Why does Lester not put either sliding poles or a gate that would make things much safer and easy to open for each new roll.
Wow I also learned something new,a tractor of bigger size has 2brakes and 2 gas pedals I have no idea thanks Jami😃
Jami - Can't you use metal pipe filled with cement to secure the hay area?🤔 .👍💪🤗
just a suggestion, but to stop Tex’s , always ramming through the smaller bale/roll once it is eaten down, why not put a gate on your side of the fence that can be open to put the hay in,and closed once the bale/roll is inserted to that area?
A steel gate would be a heck of a lot cheaper than a whole steel surround.
The kids did great!❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸🇦🇷
Might think about putting a gate to close up behind the hay just in case the cattle figure out a way to get across the hay and out. Just a thought.
He did great for a city boy 😂😂 Not growing up on a farm, at least he's willing to learn.
The kids did a great job.
The kids are doing great. Till you could get some one out to weld you a metal hay area where cattle keep tearing up the wooden fences, at the back maybe temporarily Lester could rig up one of metal long gates to keep them from breaking out.

Family blessings kids learning great memories new skills learned sharing knowledge ❤

Such a proud momma. ❤
It’s great to see Kendra at the wheel🥰
Kangaroo Christmas is fast becoming my favorite
Last time I drove a tractor I was about 6 or 7 years old and I almost hit the barn turning around. Never got back on (Not sure if it was mom or my grandfather who never suggested it again -- lol)
You could put a gate on outside of pile so when yr ready to put out new bale, easy to open gate towards you.
We have neighbors with buffalo…they have welded steel bars for fencing.
She's a natural!
