Description (From Wikipedia) Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 - A Tight Squeeze, commonly known as Chapter One or abbreviated as CH1, is the first chapter for Poppy Playtime. It was released on October 13 on Steam. It revolves around the unamed player, an ex-employee of the toy manufacturing business Playtime Co. whose employees when missing abruptly one day, and receives a letter from an anonymous sender stating that 'we're still here'. This incites the protagonist to go back to the abandoned factory and investigate it to find out what is happening. Playtime Co. is a toy-making company, and the location where the game takes place. It was likely established in the 1950s, considering the aesthetic and lack of deeply advanced technology. However, the factory likely made its demise some time past the 80s depending. In this game, you play as an ex-employee of a company labelled "Playtime Co." Playtime Co. was once a corporate giant company that was in the toy manufacturing industry - that was until everybody inside the factory went missing. Now, years later, you return to the factory to investigate these unknown missing cases. One of the main mascots of PlayTime Co, he was one of the best sellers and found a place in the hearts of many children across the globe due to the fact that he was programmed to hug people, or because he was found to be cute. Nobody really knows what made him so appealing. However, due to experimentation on the toys at Playtime Co., a Huggy Wuggy seems to have come to life and gone rogue, killing everyone that crosses its path. The Player is the main protagonist of Poppy's Playtime and is the person you currently play as during Chapter 1: A Tight Squeeze. There is not much to say about The Player since we never get an introduction to who they could be. However, there's a recurring theory that the live toys, such as the murderous HH, were actually human experiments. There's a theory that the player has ties to whoever was running the operation, or looked similar to them, which is why they were so ferociously attacked. This is not canon, and this may be disputed later on as more lore is revealed. Poppy Playtime is a minor character inside Chapter 1, and will most likely be an important character for the upcoming chapters. Poppy is a highly intelligent toy, she has the ability to properly converse with a child. She's also programmed to talk and communicate like a real little girl. Her first debut is in Chapter 1 and is featured inside the first VHS tape the player receives in the game, in which she appears in her own commercial tape. The Grab Pack was shown to have been used by factory workers to do heavy lifting and general tasks that would have been hard for the average man to do alone, or even in groups. Not to mention, that in the chase scene, the player used it to pull a huge box over an entrance to deter a murderous Huggy Wuggy, and instead destroys the entire mesh floor with the box and takes Huggy Wuggy down with it. This shows that it's incredibly powerful, managing to pull down a box like that with ease. In VHS 2, it's also shown that it can easily decapitate a person with relative ease. In VHS 2, because of this, it was strongly advised to use these with care for that very reason. Decapitating your coworker is not ideal. (Steam Page) You must stay alive in this horror/puzzle adventure. Try to survive the vengeful toys waiting for you in the abandoned toy factory. Use your GrabPack to hack electrical circuits or nab anything from afar. Explore the mysterious facility... and don't get caught.
It's pretty concerning for the fact so many are leaving the team, i hope this is not a sign that something is up with behind the scenes and how things are or what.

He is a side character, not a backround character. He has importance to the lore and story which does not make him a backround character

I mean, we know for a fact that harley is alive (this is confirmed by project) and the recent teasers have been teasing him very heavily, and when you think about it harley sawyer is the true villain of the franchise, because he's the one that started the BBI, If it wasn't for him the prototype or the experiments wouldn't ever exist.

Harley is the founder of Bigger Bodies. he is in the hospital in this trailer, because he is nicknamed "The Doctor" I don't know for sure why he is alive though. perhaps he's working some sort of deal with The Prototype.

he had around five minutes of screen time total in Deep Sleep. and then the critters took his body. so, there wasn't a need to talk about him all together.

Even so, they have the potential to revive project playtime easily. They should be focusing on this and give the actual game a break
Theorie: what if the person messaging us in project playtime and the person on the discord is ollie, it makes sense and it doesnt but here me out, the person in project playtime was telling us to find the phone and we were showing the phone as refrence, and when we collect the phone in chapter 3 ollie seems to know alot about us, and other then poppy and the prodotype how would ollie know so much about us? Its cause hes being monitoring us, and sending us clues and messages to help us around the factory, just a theorie i thought of🤷♂️

Releasing an unfinished game on consoles, milking the franchise for money, stealing from others apparently, on top of the older controversies with the NFTS and ekrcoaster.. mob is like a prime example of what NOT to do, and it sucks bc I was actually highly fond of poppy playtime at some point.
The discord account is also mimicking the Sleep Well lyrics "Can you see us? Can you hear us?" which may I remind you was made with guidance from Mob Games. The entities in that video also refer to themselves as "we" in the lyrics "we want freedom". Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

So looking at the poem... If it's in 2002, before we go into Playtime Co... I wonder if the poem is about Theodore? Like I know a lot of people think Huggy Wuggy, but it's mentioning sleep which to me is more tied to Catnap. And to not be afraid of death because they've already met, well, Theo nearly died via electric shock and that's what got him turned into Catnap. I don't know. I know his feet aren't "felted", but I keep feeling like the poem fits Catnap more, but I'm probably way off.

If it's true, that there really are survivors from the Hour of Joy, then maybe they were the ones who sent that message to Us in Chapter 1. Also, when the account said that "We have already Met", it probably *does* imply we've met before. I have four theories regarding this: One is that it could be the Prototype, since the first time we saw him, he was dragging Mommy Long Legs's remains away. Another theory could be Harley Sawyer, since we've "met" him a few times throughout the franchise, from Project Playtime to the Poppy Playtime Recap Videos. My third theory could be Ollie, since I don't believe that he *is* the Prototype. The first time we met him was in Chapter 3, and he's been incredibly helpful to us, so it could be him who's been giving us information this whole time. My fourth and final theory is that it could be this mysterious entity that's been respawning us everytime we die, telling us to get up and such. I'll admit, this fourth theory may be a bit of a stretch, but we can't rule this out. I say this, because the message stated "I am not afraid of Death, for we have already met." Maybe the message meant that literally in a way.
I hope that we get more recap videos for newer chapters because they were really cool

About that whole "stealing oc" stuff, if I were that person, I would actually be jolly to have my creation used by someone I love with me being upset if they would stretch it away from what I wanted it to be like. For example, I have an idea that for B3NDY (the third and most likely final mainline game), the ink demon should become a dad (both as a foil to joey and Audrey and as a way to explore his more sensitive sides). The Idea is that 6 kids with tragic backgrounds (at the age range of 9-14) found their way into the cycle and ended up In a dying state. The ink demon found them and intended to make them other pawns for him to use, so he rescued them from dying by taking their souls and giving them ink Bodies with powers based on their characteristics. However, along the way they sort of started to grow on him And he started to see them as more than pawns and as people who are really important to him. This is because they never really feared him and saw him as a benevolent figure who was there for them when no one else could (think of it like a more demented version of despicable me). Each kid is named after a classic cartoon character of sorts with their ink forms mostly based on modern human kids cartoon characters (with those same modern characters' names also influencing their last name). There are two boys and four girls in total, each with their own set of powers, skills and personalities. Some sources of inspiration also include the amarariruku from SHY, the warriors of hope from Danganronpa another episode ultra despair girls, boogie's boys from the nightmare before Christmas and the koopalings from super Mario. I'd be happy if they could use that idea, but I would have liked to be a part of shaping those creations.

There have been multiple characters who are confirmed survivors of the Hour of Joy Lieth Pierre Sherron the orphans of Playcare PW and Harlley Sawyer but I assume P was killed or injured by one of the toys as multiple pages of the Orientation Notebook have blood on them
I think its a message from the surviving scientists to go find them. I think we must play as Ollie or as another scientist, who is hiding in the factory. All of those signs and art with graffiti of Poppies on the wall must have been there for a reason. I also wanted to know if the survivors were warning us of Poppy. I wonder if Poppy is the Key to the Prototypes plan. Are we being used to help the Prototype in some way? Also, how could ollie still be a child when the Hour of Joy happened in 1995 and the main games took place in 2005 onwards. It very much is like the prototype

Got a Question, we dont saw in the Recap of the Chapter 3 the death of Catnap, the recap seems to show what happened, if it's not seen in the recap, maybe Catnap is not dead and we were on hallucination of the Red Smoke in the whole scene... cause a true chase by Catnap will be sooooooooo terryfing i dont gonna lie, Huggy makes poop on my boots on Chapter 1 😂😂😂
