The mind is a powerful thing. I have got to a stage in my life, at 60, where I choose not to overthink, worry or get upset over what I cannot change, just go with it and honestly life has become so much more fun and enjoyable. There's usually always a solution it's just sometimes you may have to change tack or think outside the box. I'm sure everything will sort itself out for you and Abby. Glad you are both doing well. I would've changed super funds too! Exciting times ahead.
You are such a joy Brenna! With the positive attitude you exude there is no way things can go awry. Blessings to You and Abby and go Fay! Looking forward to everything you want to share in 2025 from your new van. Cheers from NZ 💚🌏💚
I think as women we need to inspire and support other women's dreams and adventures regardless of their age I'm so glad you mentioned your friends adventure it may inspire others. So many women are taught to believe there is danger around every corner so much so that they are afraid to leave their home and never get to experience life. I have a friend who is afraid to venture outside the 20 mile radius of her home and her daughter who's 25 won't drive, she's so afraid, she bought a car 2 years ago and has never driven it, I offer to take her out to practice and gain some confidence but she always has an excuse, we as women need to break that recording in our heads and step out of comfort zone, doesn't mean we let down our guard but we don't allow our fears to paralyze us.
Great that you got sorted Brenna... Good move to move your Super and I'm sure it will come through soon! Thanks for your interesting content all year. Your painting is looking lovely!!
Like Fay, I have a Hyundai accent and am 74. I sleep in my car, I'm only 5'3" so fit in easily and am very comfortable. I go on trips for a week or two and enjoy camping , I stay in caravan parks or maybe a free camp if there are people there, my kids want me to keep safe. I have my home to come home to.
Thank you Brenna ❤ Every video you do inspires, encourages and gives me faith in the universe. I often tell myself, ' Life is happening for me, for my best good' .🙏
Love seeing your art again Brenna! Life is a roller coaster and you are doing great! So true about not letting fear stop you from having adventures. 2025 will be a great year. Happy New Year!
It's amazing being a person wanderer which I am now at 70. I've in a way been wandering and working in bush for years, did in those days in a swag. Never had an issue. You go on your gut instinct and I go on what the drive into areas looks like, rubbish etr.. Brenda is an amazing women I thinkm😊❤
Always appreciate your informative and down to earth videos Brenna. Love your positive attitude too. Look forward to seeing what 2025 brings with life in the new van. Best of wishes, happiness and peace to you and little Abbie. 🥰
BRENDA, You are amazing I very put a freind onto your vids as your inspiring. I've been going walkabout apparently since I was 6 months old with my folks. As an adult in a swag up until 9 years ago then older camper trailer. Now an RV. It's a magic life style. I'm in NSW for a bit then Vic. Selling my rig and getting a van. Turned 70 this December and like my folks, can't see me stopping for ages yet. Thankyou for your vids and have an amazing 2025.😊❤🎉🎉
Great video as always. I have some exciting news, my Toyota Hiace LWB van was supposed to arrive at the end of January, and someone cancelled, so I get to pick up a new van on Tuesday instead, just over 11 months wait...lol...so we'll be building our vans out together...lol...I'm using 12mm European Poplar Plywood for my floating floor, with 5mm Sound Deadener Foam 4.5M Roll 50% Thicker Heat Shield Auto Noise Insulation Mat underneath, which adheres to the metal floor, I agree with your video, 9-12mm plywood is plenty thick enough for the floor, with the 1340mm internal van height every mm saved is an advantage. This is my 3rd home on wheels since 2022, from a Nissan Qashqai no build to a Kia Carnival self build floating internal home and now the next step a self build attached internal home Toyota Hiace, woo hoo! You are right, everything in life happens for a reason, especially the tough parts, that is when you need to use that to your advantage, to give you the strength to go on.
Hello Brenna, I love to watch your videos they are so informative. Positive attitude in life gets you there in the end. Abby is so adorable, you are so blessed with such a wonderful companion on your travels. Wishing you a wonderful and safe 2025. Hugs, prayers and love always. 🫂 💝 🙏
All the best for the coming year Brenna. I had some frustrating dealings with a super fund earlier in the year and also decided to just consolidate into my old original fund. Such a good, good decision it was. Also recommend The Super Guy for advice and explanations on Super. How inspiring to hear about your friend Fay (Faye?) bravely taking off in her Getz! Wonderful. Be well Abbey. Be well Brenna. Look forward to the arrival of the new van and seeing it all come together.
Love your positivity, I’ve been watching you since you’ve started love your hints , and will be talking notes as you build your new van to you , hope you had a great Xmas , many hugs from Western Australia watcher
I’d have the same thoughts about the van, so it was sensible to write it off. Pity that you don’t yet have your new van to start working on but there’s a rhyme or reason for anything & what the universe has planned will soon be revealed to you. Wishing you good health & many new adventures for 2025 Stay safe, Elaine in Dunedin NZ
Love following your journey🎉 Good choice not going with the maxx airfan. I had one for years in two different rigs. They are HIGLY overrated, and your solution will give probably just the same effect. Even a small fan floor to roof would work just as well. Wish the best of luck with your new build❤
Hi Brenna, I thoroughly enjoy all your videos, and love you life’s attitude. I wish you and Abby nothing short of the very best of health, happiness, and good fortune. 😊
Fabulous Brenna, I was thinking of you over Christmas and wondered how you were doing and any progress with the van. Glad you are moving your superannuation. The current mob do not sound like they deserve to have your hard earned $ in their fund. I hope that change results in all things flowing seamlessly forward for you Brenna. Equally glad to hear Abbie is making good progress. Do enjoy your chance to relax and so looking forward to your budget video. Have a brilliant New year and all the best for 2025!
Helloooooo - love tuning into UA-cam and seeing your smiling face appear! Wonderful advice regarding accepting what is and not waiting for the perfect moment - jump!
Hi Brenna, I always enjoy watching/listening to you. Your positive attitude is inspirational. My year didn't go as planned either, nothing to do with travel, my health mainly but ended up all good, nothing sinister!! but I have been grounded since Christmas Day with a sore throat and head cold.....barlees.....I desperately want my campervan on the road again, I just want to park up somewhere in the bush. But first up in January is floors being replaced following a burst water hose in the bathroom and leaking water damage at my kitchen window frame following storm damage in my home. Good job I don't drink lol. It's good news about Abby. Wishing you a Happy New Year and bring on 2025. Cheers
Least Breena you indirectly fixed the sliding door dent! Lol. Maybe things to consider for the new van: Diesel or Petrol. Long wheel base or medium. High roof or normal.
Hi Brenna.. just want to wish you and Abbey all the best for 2025. You have an exciting time ahead of you with the new van build .. so looking forward to those videos. You know what you doing, you've a cluey lady and you manage to stay calm and work thru things ... Stay safe and stay happy .. Terri from Tas.
Yes, I’m not going to miss 2024. Bring on 2025. I would love to be touring Australia 🇦🇺 but I’m starting where I am - New Zealand 🇳🇿 then hopefully I will cross the ditch and do Australia 🇦🇺 I love watching your journey - bumps and all !! Fyi - I work in insurance , if they needed to deregister it due to structural damage it’s basically illegal on the road / uneconomical to repair - getting paid out was the best outcome.
Hi, Brenna. I'm so glad Abbey's coming along well, and you, too. I'm looking forward to your new van build. My search for a van still goes on. But, I want everything really simple, as you do. So, I'm very interested to see what you do with your new van. It might take me a bit longer than I'd like but I have a few things to deal with before I take off anywhere. If not, I need a new car anyway. I might first do as you have suggested, and go on some small trips first. If you and Fay can do it, so can I. 💜 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
i just love a capable woman who rolls with the punches and has a great attitude. inspiring and a joy to watch. brenna you are my fave

You are an inspiration!
Hi Brenna, it's actually called a whirlybird heat extractor. Once it's installed, it costs nothing to run.
Have a wonderful 2025 Brenna! All the very Best!
Happy Holidays! 💓🙌🏼🎉
Weathershields are great, fabulous to see you and your pup family enjoying summer.

I am definitely going to check out this Super guy. I've been contemplating this a lot lately. I hope that all goes well with moving it across.
All the best this year, Brenna, and I hope you are receiving your new van soon.
All the very best to you 😀
you did the right thing in my opinion writing the van off it was starting to get dangerous for you. Also good to know your Abbey is doing okay
Great to hear that Abbey is going well, such a sweet girl ❤🐾 I discovered The Super Guy recently and he has some excellent information on his channel.
Greetings! So nice to see you, Brenna! Happy New Year! 💛💛💛
Happy New Year Brenna
I wish I had your ocd😁
You are so organised.
I love spreadsheets but lack the discipline to maintain them .

Have you thought about putting a whirligig on your roof? It would help to remove hot air from the car.

Brenna have you thought about getting some window socks for when you have the windows cracked ? ( will keep the mosquito's & any type of bugs out)

Can you please give me the model / brands of your current fans - especially the water cooling one with its owns lithium battery?
Fully agree, Toyota's can be very bad for rust. Glad you got out of it.
My family have owned many Toyota's since 1982 and not a single one has had any rust issues.
