Those things were so valuable to me that my parents would rip them up to punish me or get the truth out of me, and not just come in rip em and leave, they made a show out of it holding up each card, hands in tear position, for a full minute, making eye contact the whole time then ripping them dramtically. SERIOUS WARNING: DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR KIDS! My parents had to fill about fifty fist-holes in walls, replace a computer cabinet, replace a half dozen doors, they lost a few hundred dollars in trade-back value on their Honda civic because I put a very noticeable dent in it, my father got his tire flattened(by me of course), my mother even brought home a large bottle of vodka from the states that you can't get in Canada and I took it from her hands and immediately smashed it with no remorse. When you're a kid you assume that your parents only act in a socially acceptable manner so when they did that to me I felt obligated to do the same when they did something wrong to me and I felt that there was nothing wrong with doing that. So if you want to keep your valuables: DO NOT RIP YOUR KID'S FUCKING YU-GI-OH CARDS! Also, did I mention that 2 of those cards were blue eyes white dragon which now sell for hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

Your parents would of probably been more lenient and not fucked you over. I Still feel bad you though losing out on original blue eyes that sucks because even for the sake of collecting that would of been cool to still have.
Watching this makes me realize how *GODLY* it was that I pulled the Golden Lord out of a single pack at Target..
Notice what else is in this set, they made that one Eldland card a continuous spell because they still wanted you to play Zombie World

Pulling multiple confirmed ultra short print in 3 boxes. I don't think I've ever seen this guy not pull good. Ever. How does that work?
New studio for the series along a new format which is called rush duels however its going to be exclusive to Japan since its their version of our speed duels. The series will start this Fri evening with the 1st episode going out. It actually airs in Japan on Sat morning before 8am in their time zone. Looking forward to it since in the opening scenes we do get to see a Blue Eyes being summoned in this new format. Don't miss it.
The eldlixir cards are named in that manner because they reference alchemical processes required to create gold; Negredo(Black), Albedo(White) and Rubedo(Red).
Which, by the way, despite being rather out there the concept of ancient alchemy does come rather close to modern alchemy in a way, especially turning a material into a different state. It's quite facinating to think about!

Since cards have been printed. Reprints don’t have it unless they are a different rarity

man id love to have more money... i just love opening boxes of cards seeing what i get... friday kids were up early so me and the older 2 opened a box of magical heros... didnt pull a single dark magicians of soul.... but we had fun got a chaos impact sitting there and you can guess whos pestering me to open it
watchin this vid in august...these cards are literally worth about 10 times less money right now online like $2 not $28 for rikka glamour (although they are marketed as in "near mint" condition so perhaps not quite as good as right out of the box)...but i now just collect stuff that looks cool to me and is cheap, like 25 cents or under $1 per card mostly...just spent $95 on about 250 cards i thought would be cool for me to look at in my collection

I preordered the limited edition Rikka playmat. I really hope it's as beautiful as the artwork. Doing this to support simply unlucky. I dont play much anymore.
So what box was released that was the last 1999 one I assume if you keep that for a few year it will raise in value a lot.

I hate the new copyright, the bottom of the card is now way too cluttered! It takes up the whole card and for a limited edition card it won’t fit... They need to change it back or shorten it. It’s diff for Japanese because kanji is smaller, but for Roman characters it doesn’t work.

@@sestoalternativeevo8884 Short prints are the cards that are printed in smaller quantities in a certain set. They are rare and have harder ratios to pull than the not short printed cards
@@lobicosto5400 which in hindsight adds to the suspense of a box opening but with online venders for singles, it makes it a lot easier to get almost any card you need (prices may vary). But pulling a card that's set at $50+ out of a pack, feels so fulfilling.

Stopped playing yugioh after xyz but still love seeing the content on this channel even though I don’t know most of the cards anymore lol. Wanna get back into it but from the time I stopped playing so much has progressed and changed its intimidating to learn it all :(
You're better off than me there, lol. I don't know anything past 5D's/Synchros, and I'm still confused on Synchros. I'll stick with the old and nostalgic cards that I'm used to, lol. Luckily they know nostalgia sells, so no shortage of wants for me.
Its not too bad actually, I hadn't played since early Xyz and came back October last year and it's actually really simple once you understand it. The only mechanic that is daunting is pendulum due to all the weird interactions they have but synchros are just adding levels with a tuner and non tuner, xyz you just put monsters with the same level ontop of each other underneither an Xyz monster and links are just really generic where you need a monster per link rating eg. a link 4 needs 4 monsters to summon or a link 2 and 2 monsters as a link 2 counts as 2 monsters for a link summon. Just made it really simplified here but if the new stuff is putting you off just sit down and watch a few videos cause honestly links have become my favourite summoning method.

So are all cards holo these days? I haven’t played since 2007. All the new packs you open seem to be full holos. Doesn’t seem interesting as old packs as there is no excitement for a rare.
Only certain sets are. But they will be removing regular rares in the next main set i believe. Toon chaos.

No, this set is called a deck building set where 3 archetypes are introduced to the game and get given a tonne of support, the idea being you can buy 3 of these boxes and build 3 fully complete decks, then there are the huge special edition sets like duel devistator and overload which are also all holo but other than that the legendary duelists sets aren't guaranteed a holo and standard packs of 9 in main sets you only get 1
