Battle of Sekigahara next please, it is one of the most important moments in Japanese History as well as it leads to the establishment of the Tokugawa Shogunate which ruled for 2 centuries before the Meiji Restoration Period
The Siege of Diaoyucheng would be a good one. It was an epic siege campaign that led to the death of Möngke Khan. The death of the Great Khan had a huge impact on Mongol's invasion in both Asia and Europe.
Would you be interested in doing a meso battle? Such as the seige of Tenochtitlan, where the Spanish (probably) built a flawed trebuchet that fired a projectile straight into the air and then fell back down, destroying itself? Or the battle at the Field of Blood, between the Chanca and the Inca?
Great AoE2 video, really fulfills my need to see massive battles on AoE2 while learning historical facts xD Also, do you make these maps or do you get someone to? because they are super cool
@@historyforgamers from scratch? like empty starting map? damn I wish I had even a sliver of your map making skills xD I just pick black forest and edit it as I please lol
Hello there! This battle was excellent, if I had to be picky, I'd have liked more horse archers (Samurai were notoriously good archers, and the Takeda were surely no different. Mangudai / standard Cavalry Archers, perhaps?), as I saw some on Tokugawa's side, but none on the Takeda (Red). I'd also have liked to see less Hussars (Mounted Samurai unit, no doubt?), as yes, they did use wing-like ornaments on their backs historically, but I still think they should've shared many of the same unit models as the Takeda, as they are the same culture. Maybe the Persian cavalry (unique scenario unit) which I forgot the name of, and the Heavy Steppe Lancer, could've also been involved. I also think some regular Archers should've been mixed in with the Rattan Archers, as some archers were simply peasant levies. All in all, however, the map itself is extremely well detailed, there was more unit variety (infantry-wise) than I expected, using the Indian hero unit. Maybe a mangonel or two could've been nice, I'd also have liked the attack on Takeda's men (as to relief the siege) to have been done nearer to the actual siege, rather than across the river in the middle of nowhere. AI-voice wise, at approximately 12:10, 'causing great mortality' doesn't really sound right. Inflicting many casualties, inflicting high mortality rates? Philosophically speaking, the term 'mortality' by itself has many different meanings. Great Mortality is used to refer to the Black Plague, but it was less so to talk about 'how many died' but rather how frail and mortal the Human body is. I'd avoid that turn of phrase in the future. However, you are doing an absolute bangers job and I'm really glad to have watched this. Have a lovely day!
Thank you for the comment and your suggestions Kae. The truth is that I was wondering how to represent cavalry and I thought about putting archers on horseback and in the end I didn't. Some sources I consulted said that Takeda did not place much importance on ranged units. The narrator thing sounds a bit weird, it sounded better in my head 😉 For the next battle in Japan I will take into account your suggestions about which units to choose, any help is welcome to improve the videos. I'm glad you liked it.

I really love your channel. One of the most creative ideas I have ever seen. I would like to help you with creating turkish subtitles for your videos. How can I contact with you?
I can generate automatic subtitles in many languages within UA-cam when uploading each video. It won't take me long to add Turkish like that starting in the next video. Thanks Hasan!

Great video! I like the effort you put into making these. Do you use any mods? I do not recognize all the units used, might be on me.
Thanks Kevin! For the units, the only mod I have used in this battle has been one that modifies the paladins.
Do the BATTLE OF SEKIGAHARA

The fall of Tenochtitlan is a very important battle that deserves a video. Maybe it's in this week's poll... 😉
Am I blind or are some units modded? What mod they from?
I don't think I used any in this video, what I did was use heroes as normal units and remove their aura with a mod.
@@historyforgamers Oh sick, yeh I recall some heroes have unique models now. Don't they usually glow/sparkle gold though?
