- I've been lucky enough to acquire a Sky Dancer quad line kite in great condition. Here's a short video of my first flight with it. Some describe them as a hybrid dual/quad kite due to its unusual flight characteristics created by its variable geometry frame.

I've owned one of these since the late '90s. It only flies once or twice a year now as it has become a bit fragile. I would love to find another. I once spent a lovely afternoon with David at his house talking kites. A friendly, delightful, knowledgeable man. Sadly missed.
All kite gliders missed David! When I bought my Skydancer in 2002, David sent me an email with instructions and instructions and tips and his last words in that email were: “Roland, welcome to the club!” and I am very proud to be a member of this club!
I am owner of a SKYDANCER-Kite from Dave Davies an I remember the first contact via eMail in 2004 to Dave direktly. Since 18 years I visit the RÖMÖ-Kite-Festival every year in September! Of all my 20 2 and 4 line kites, the Skydancer is the most fun to fly and has long tube sponges in rainbow colors. But even at the largest international kite festival in the world, at RÖMÖ, I am often the only Skydancer owner and flyer; very rarely is there another person present, and that with now 40,000 to 50,000 spectators and visitors!
I would like to get to know another Skydanzer owner and pilot and exchange ideas with him - I'm excited to see if anyone gets in touch with me! Greetings from Northern Germany and Roland from Bremen!
