Story:
Layla has just broken up with her married lover Ben, and goes out on a date with Noah, a young man whom she has discovered on the internet.
Was this is a bad move....
To future listeners: there is a little gap in between the dialogue but it is only music that you are missing, not the actual script :)
Thanks.
Thank you
Thanks for that.
Not true. The entire attack is missing which can be heard on another channel. Link posted amongst these comments.
Wow really good. Immediately I’m looking for more of these. Thank you for posting something thought provoking…
The ending was a bit blurred. I figured it out thanks to previous comments. Thanks for the upload Arch.
Now that was good! Thank you
Talk about making life complicated. The tangled webs we weave. 🤪🕸
I've been there, it gets completed very quickly.
Such a hypocrit; "I have a son now!"
Wow! The Lunatic.... thanks for uploading
Cheers, Arch! I loved it 🤗🌷
Really good show. Must Listen
Layla and Noah deserve each other..actually Ben deserves them too.
Great play, Saturday@3.30pm the 5th of March 2022 from Ireland. 🇮🇪❤️🇺🇦
The above photo says it all. I loved that it was presented in phone calls- it built the suspense minute by scary minute.
fabulous story. completely addicted couldn't stop listening.
Me too. Yikes. So real. 🥶
@Arch. . Without giving too much away for new listener's to this play, Near the ending, How did it go from a certain someone being in the house to the phone call & what and when that {thing} happened to her? Thanks in advance
You’re correct. The complete play can be heard at ua-cam.com/video/fI-NuOn1-bU/v-deo.html
I want to know too. Are we supposed to surmise.
Excellent ❤
I love this play, but there's quite a bit missing, isn't there? Almost 15 minutes?
Hi Michael, apologies that music is missing in this play because of copyright. If the music is left in I can receive a copyright strike and potentially have this non profit making channel taken down as happened before. I hope you enjoyed the play despite the music having been removed by UA-cam (6 mins) and will continue to listen to this channel. Regards, Arch
@@archphoenixstanton6998 I think it's wonderful that you protected the play in that way, I'm just glad to hear that it's only music and not part of the drama that's missing, that does clarify things. Thank you for the response!
@@archphoenixstanton6998 Thanks so much for your time and dedication, Arch!! ❤️🙏🏵️
@@archphoenixstanton6998 Would hate it if your channel was taken down, especially after all your hard work.👍💜
Heard this one before - still excellent.
Scary, but I’m sure this has happened in real life.
I bet it has. Let’s feel grateful not to us.
I had a mini stalker once - I only had his number plate - VIN69 (his first name was Vincent - the 69 is obvious). I went to the police station - female desk person took down the details and she informed me that the car was registered to a company and told me the company name (I'm sure she shouldn't have but I was grateful she did). The next time he called I told him I'd be calling his boss at the xyz company and I would tell his boss what he'd been doing. I never heard from him again. I feel bad I did not go back and thank the police officer - I think she was very sympathetic. It does not take much for a stalker to start harassing - I was looking for a flat mate and I had decided, as a precaution, to take down number plates as they parked their car - all I did was show him the flat - he asked me out - I refused. That's it.
The end is so ironic😐
Would have been good apart from the fact, a part of the story appears to be missing, suddenly after layla is in Bens house it goes onto something else altogether ??????
It is. An important part of the story toward the end detailing her being attacked by Noah. I will post the link.

Cuts off before the end!
With a spot of tea if I may add...
Hmm,, it makes you wonder if there are really anyone that needy & then there are 2,2
Brilliant
John Bolton stalking the chick from IT Crowd. Haha
Okay, don't date married men then you have to lie and cheat. If you have to find a date on the internet, be careful. Don't get drunk, tell the other person your personal problems, give your telephone number, work information or where you live. You just might be asking for trouble. Use wisdom.
To be a good lier you have to have a good memory, but your memory will always let you down... x
What a lot of nonsense
Eric Clapton's obsessive love song Layla is a fitting musical accompaniment.
Quite the gripping production. Instantly recognized Katherine Parkinson's voice who played Layla. She played Jen in The IT Crowd.
Well spotted, I didn’t!
Why are so many Brit dramas about violence in romantic relationships
Gripping and quite the ending! Thank you for posting this.
Love this play but isn't there a few minutes towards the end missing? Someone's in the house then a phone call, I'm certain theres more to it?
You’re correct. The complete play can be heard at ua-cam.com/video/fI-NuOn1-bU/v-deo.html
@@RoddersClassical Thank you just listened to the full play - not sure why the full story was not presented here.
Thank you for that link .. important part of the story missing in this upload.
Did I miss something at 35:00 When did he stab layla
Great play it got my daughter listening and she never listens to plays.
Thankyou
That was brilliant,,, and so believeable and well thought out thanks for sharing
I didn't really understand the ending ... it seemed to skip a big piece between when she was talking to Ben and when Noah called. I know someone says music was missing, but this seems like a big jump. She went from talking to Ben to all of a sudden talking to Noah who had stabbed her and been arrested ... I mean, when did all that happen?
The serenades were creepily hilarious, though.
Horrible selfish people, there's no redemption so I guess that's the take away
👏👏👏👏👍😊
That was good.
Too good
Enjoyed it! Thank you
The ending! Wow!
This was reasonably good. The one thing that let it down was the idea the perpetrator would be the one to tell Layla the conditions of his release. From there it became even more ridiculous when Layla herself started confiding stuff to Noah, even inviting him to call again. I thought this was totally implausible but the actress playing Layla was brilliant
Katherine Parkinson!
Interesting!
Wow. Intense
8:44 it stops dead???
Hi, sorry re the slight gap it comes back at about 9.30. I think there must have been copyright music there which UA-cam have removed. Apologies Arch
How can all these people be saying this is “so good” and “great play”? Did you even listen to it?
There’s an obviously key portion of the play MISSING. Or if there’s not, then this is very poorly written
Who stabbed her? When? In the house? Noah’s in jail? WTF!????
"Spoiler alert" would have been appreciated
@@shinywarm6906 none needed because a portion of the show is missing
Thanks for the spoiler!!? Stupid!
@@emcarver8983 There’s no “spoiler” for an incomplete story
I just realised that a few of these have endings missing. Gonna have to stop listening.
