Castoria is the best servant by far. You are a new player? Pick Castoria, even with skills 1/1/1, she will make your team work much better. Attack buff, np gain+gauge up, targeted invincibility, her NP can be used fairly often and it does a lot. You are an older player? Pick Castoria, 10/10/10, she will make your life much better. Farming? Pick Castoria. You are a newbie? Pick Castoria. CQ? Pick Castoria. Castoria is a universal tool that will make ANY team much better. Koyan is great for farming, I’d say that even better than Castoria because buster farming is not dependent on refund, but Castoria just does so much more. Same about Oberon. Is he great? Yes. 70% battery, his 3rd skill. But is he really as useful as Castoria? No. By far. Oberon is like a boost to an already established account. He will make what you have better but he is not that useful by himself. I’d even argue that Skadi is more important than Oberon because Oberon requires other supports to be used. So, yeah, number 1 is Castoria by a god damn mile. Number 2 I’d say Koyan because she enables Buster farming. And number 3 is probably divided between Oberon and Skadi because one enables quick farming and another gives a powerful boost to many comps.

I think its difficult to compare them as they have different roles, Oberon is the penultimate offensive support while castoria is the penultimate CQ support, the reason i prefer castoria is because she can both farm and be used in CQ's
Koyan is far from being at the top, she is okay for 6-slot as a wave 1 clearer/50% charge sup since she has a nice 50% dmg bonus vs man. Servants like habetrot, summer ibuki, tez and taigong/casgil are way better in general, she just allows for a new way of farming not that it is actually good outside of the harder 90+/++ nodes.

@@muratticugaratti1571 habetrot is np5 free, cas gil is an unlimited 4* so way easier to get than a 5*, and tai gong doesn't really need np2 for almost all relevant permanent nodes in the game(99% of the play time if you use your daily ap) With the release of ordeal call koyan will get better since 6-slot stops always being easy to achieve. Good luck 6-sloting with koyan without plug, you would do the same comp as the others but she only buffs vs human attribute. If you are using plug and/or CE than any drawback they could have are also nullified, since an extra sup or CE would allow them to get the damage you believe they lack. Habetrot can be used with oberon a looper and a 50% charge sup to make almost anyone 6-slot with really good damage. Koyan is only better at 90++ really and the really rare 90+ nodes where you can't 6-slot with plug.
castoria and oberon really are deuteragonists in every sense of the word,the meta will forever be theirs to fight over until nasu decides to make camelot 3/LB6 2 and come out with an even more absurd bri'ish support
I think the only other thing to add here is that we have to consider the picks between Oberon, Koyan and Castoria, is that it is much easier as well to use Castoria with FTP Units and still get great mileage. Yes, you can use Koyan and Oberon on units like Bedivere, CasCu, Spartacus and (if you have him) Columbus, but then there’s all the asterisks next to them- Spartacus has low damage. CasCu and Bedi you’re most likely going to see people only have NP1. Columbus is only on the Story Banner unless he’s on rate-up (like right now at the time of writing, bearing in mind choosing to roll for him over the Summer Units is… questionable). With Arts though, you can access Chen Gong, who should be relatively easy to get, deals massive amounts of damage for his rarity, and then go through the Welfare Servants we have and how many of them are Arts that can Loop. Habetrot in particular. Buster DOES have the higher damage ceiling, but Arts just has the ease-of-access. I think.
Do one with who is the best dps servant. I can think of a few contenders. For np dps servants we have Tiamat, Kuku, Arjuna alter and Melusine while for carding we have Super orion, Jalter and Himiko.
I've had the opportunity to take Castoria Arts teams and Koyan/Oberon Buster teams into both farming and bosses/CQ's and have had great results with both. Back in Part 1 I was the type of player who preferred to buff up zerkers and hit things hard with them, and OberSkaya have been a great expansion to the possibilities there, so they're my favorite right now. Thing about that strat though is that I better make sure it works as intended; if my Kaioken times twenty wears off and the target is still standing, I'm kinda screwed unless the supports can clean it up. Castoria meanwhile comes out ahead in that kind of situation; if the initial 3-4 turn burst of damage doesn't work, you can pop her NP or skill 3 and throw up the defenses for a couple turns while you figure out a plan B. That defensive aspect to her kit gives her that extra bit of flexibility that Koyanskaya and Oberon's offense-leaning kits can't quite match. And that's not even getting into the immortal stall strats Castoria enables that makes many a tough fight a breeze. Lord help us all if Lasengle ever makes a support more powerful than her.
I know Quick is kinda mid, but it's the one meta that I'm lacking. I have Castoria, Koyan, Oberon. I have some great Buster units and a TON of Arts. I just really need Skadi to kick off my Quick comps.
Wait for the summer one, the normal is pretty bad. Summer you can even use outside of quick as a wave 1 clearer for 6-slot no plug with an arts looper, she even has nice aoe buffs.

@@dellee4793 no, ruler is far, far better than the normal one. 1st ruler is decent for 6-slot no plug with arts, can clear wave 1 with only castoria's aoe charge and 20% atk for the looper. 2nd she buffs way more than normal skadi, not a small upgrade, 20% more atk on turn 1/2 and more 15% quick all turns, you can check the difference yourself in youtube videos, with her you can even 6-slot no plug with some quick servants(meta).
Before watching the video, on Support! It's easily Castoria for her aid in Offense, Arts and General Looping, Unpiercable Defense that stacks with overcharge, debuff removable, an additional one turn of invul! Only Oberon's to raise your NP's damage to the next level and provide 70% chance can compete! DPS, no way it's not Melusine, even as a Lancer who's type neutral against most of the game, when she can Black Grail Loop from 0% with massive and immense damage, using the Black Grail! And with Castoria even not being the absolute best Single Target DPS in the game, she loops and loops, has solid defense, crits like a truck! The versatility is just to devastating, on top of overwhelming and consistent damage and power!
imo quick either needs a quick koyan, a quick castoria, or some new thing entirely with like card lock or something so your quick looper is just built to loop 2 waves and then crit the crap out of a final enemy

Before watching this video, I had Oberon for my pick of Best Servant, but hearing the justifications for Castoria convinced me. She has just that little bit of edge over Oberon in terms of versatility. In the Summer 6 event that's coming to an end in NA, I brought her along to the challenge quest. I ignored the advantages of bringing along child Servants and just brought Scathach for DPS, two Skadis, one Miss Crane, and Castoria. Skadi powered Scathach's damage along with Miss Crane's help, then I just kept plucking away at Kijyo with Castoria providing defense and debuff clears. Castoria doesn't really slot well with Quick-centric teams like that, but her utility as a defensive Servant and debuff cleanser cannot be understated. So even though I couldn't use her to buff Scathach's NP, Castoria still helped me net that fight by keeping the Skadis and Scathach alive long enough for Scathach to throw enough Gae Bolg Alternatives to finish the fight. Corgi puts in massive work.
For other supportive evidence I'm constantly running cheap2play 90+ comps that clear in 3 turns, and they usually require two castoria and two different damage dealers (multicore farming). Oberon doesn't see nearly as much sunlight and blood as castoria does on my account. Not only is she clutch for standard farming and challenge quests, she's also clutch for efficient 90+ node farming.
The struggle for content is real, the last two days have been the Naruto filler episodes of ZTL content. Luckily it should be the last day since JP new event is coming out tomorrow.
I never use double support, I use double dps. Why? Because double support means MORE CHANCE of getting crappy attack cards -,-' I tried it with double Koyans, and whenever I want to attack, all I get are Koyan's card instead of dps card. It lengthens my game play which is boring considering fgo is a merciless grinding game.
Castoria is bye far the best servent and its not even close. Oberon comes second with being kinda generic with the exception of skill 3, but we can also say the exact same thing about castoria. Unlike all the others castoria buffa litterly everything, dmg defense and debuff clean. Anithor point is that castoria buffs all members and not only one like koyan and with the 90++ notes not even buster aoe servent will get the 1mio dmg but with castoria you can simultaneously buff a single target and a aoe servent. So yeah, castoria has all the ups and 1 down, the down being the misaing np dmg buff
i didnt get castoria, spent over 1000 sq and didnt get her. i know shes probably the best servant in the game but it still irks me to watch people cream themselves over her. calm down guys
She is pretty decent now with the release of ordeal call, 50% arts up and 60% np dmg since oberon doubles it. She ended up being really good for arts servants to clear the 1t 1 enemy nodes since the lack of charge is not a problem.
Castoria changed everything, functionally made skadi and quick irrelevant, and forced lasengle to come out with a creative solution to arts in the buster meta; and yet that required 2 of the most broken servants ever to even come close to arts supremacy in koyanskaya and Oberon. Without Castoria, the convo would be unequivocally buster always, which speaks volumes to her game changing design.
I'd disagree, Melusine can do alot by herself. Cutting away Bargheist, Herakles and Cu Alter immediately because you aren't counting Solo or last stand servants
Yes 100% castotia is by far the best unit in the Game, since You only need her for enable arts farming and everthing else is a bonus for the team, as for the others You always need a extra step like have a battery, having kaledo, or even other Charger, right now AM using Buster refund because of the weird nods, but as for cqs i always go for arts teams. I think that castotia was so well Made and broken that the we're to scared to make the same for Buster and quick, since must likely will make then less money on the long run, because why go for other art support if castoria already does everthing You need, thats why koyan gives si little boosts so You need to have oberon or have high lv np units to far with no problem.
i don't even think it's possible to make a buster/quick castoria unless they just completely power cliff them above castoria, since a part of castoria's brokeness came from the fact that she's an art servant and can spam her np due to the np gain, if a buster unit wants to do that, they will probably need something like permanent 20~30% np charge per turn and massive team battery with very low CD
You can already use ibuki with castoria, better than with koyan at that, Just get her append 2 to lv 10 and use her to clear w1. Castoria's 30% aoe charge + 50 + 20 =100% np gauge. Then just use a arts looper and 2004 in turn 2 and 3 for easy 6-slot. With koyan you would need a CE maybe plug even.
At least after years she is not the best at all contents, in ordeal call oberon is better since 1t 1 enemy nodes don't require the refund she provides so the extra damage is more important.
Best for me is Qin Shi Huang, i mean Castoria is the greatest for almost everything, but im to attached to Emperor, he has carried me so much on every bosses and CQ. And this is my Opinion for myself so don't gotta feel offended you Gender bent king Author simps.
Excluding supports, I would say Kuku is the best servant coz she could still wrec havoc without supports, has 2 forms of survivability, and crit star sufficient.
Not really, if they made a better farming sup with 0 defensive aspect she would become the 2nd best servant. CQs are like a once a month and you can use commands for a full team revive, its not a factor that matters when looking at how good a character is, saving some turns in something you will do 1 time is not a meaningfull thing.
@GS_CCC Oberon is already the better farming support with 0 defense. But Castoria is the better servant because CQ and hard story boss fights do matter. And not every event let's you do revives.

Oberon makes all 3 card types better for farming, not just arts. And it's near impossible for F2P NP1 to farm 90++, which we know is coming. Oberon is the best farming support.

Just use castoria for quick stall, you do CQs like once a month, taking some extras turns in not that impactfull.

Castoria changed everything, functionally made skadi and quick irrelevant, and forced lasengle to come out with a creative solution to arts in the buster meta; and yet that required 2 of the most broken servants ever to even come close to arts supremacy in koyanskaya and Oberon. Without Castoria, the convo would be unequivocally buster always, which speaks volumes to her game changing design.

Even with double koyan buster can't really loop outside of melusine/cu caster/arc etc.
This logic says Skadi is better than Castoria. Coz no Skadi, no quick servants can loop.

Yes 100% castotia is by far the best unit in the Game, since You only need her for enable arts farming and everthing else is a bonus for the team, as for the others You always need a extra step like have a battery, having kaledo, or even other Charger, right now AM using Buster refund because of the weird nods, but as for cqs i always go for arts teams.
I think that castotia was so well Made and broken that the we're to scared to make the same for Buster and quick, since must likely will make then less money on the long run, because why go for other art support if castoria already does everthing You need, thats why koyan gives si little boosts so You need to have oberon or have high lv np units to far with no problem.
i don't even think it's possible to make a buster/quick castoria unless they just completely power cliff them above castoria, since a part of castoria's brokeness came from the fact that she's an art servant and can spam her np due to the np gain, if a buster unit wants to do that, they will probably need something like permanent 20~30% np charge per turn and massive team battery with very low CD
I'm gonna buck the trends here and say Squirtoria. She don't need no supports to do her job.
But she needs some aoe friend to do the job which 97% of time includes waves of 3 or 2 enemies.

Koyanskaya cause I use Ibuki douji this year, next year Castoria cause I will use summer Ibuki douji.
You can already use ibuki with castoria, better than with koyan at that,
Just get her append 2 to lv 10 and use her to clear w1. Castoria's 30% aoe charge + 50 + 20 =100% np gauge.
Then just use a arts looper and 2004 in turn 2 and 3 for easy 6-slot.
With koyan you would need a CE maybe plug even.

At least after years she is not the best at all contents, in ordeal call oberon is better since 1t 1 enemy nodes don't require the refund she provides so the extra damage is more important.
Best for me is Qin Shi Huang, i mean Castoria is the greatest for almost everything, but im to attached to Emperor, he has carried me so much on every bosses and CQ. And this is my Opinion for myself so don't gotta feel offended you Gender bent king Author simps.

I think support units should be excluded, since no units can shine without op supports.
And f2p newbies will start saving for summer ibuki, ignoring Skadi, Konyanskaya and Castoria who will come from december to spring.
@@amai2307 Obviously you tell them to summon for supports first. But once you get those, the real challenge is finding what's best.
Excluding supports, I would say Kuku is the best servant coz she could still wrec havoc without supports, has 2 forms of survivability, and crit star sufficient.

Not really, if they made a better farming sup with 0 defensive aspect she would become the 2nd best servant.
CQs are like a once a month and you can use commands for a full team revive, its not a factor that matters when looking at how good a character is, saving some turns in something you will do 1 time is not a meaningfull thing.
@GS_CCC Oberon is already the better farming support with 0 defense.
But Castoria is the better servant because CQ and hard story boss fights do matter. And not every event let's you do revives.
@@xanaviii no he is not, he buffs more damage wise for farming but also buffs way less gain wise. He is not better at both refund and damage.
If he was the same in one aspect and better in the other he would be better than her.
@@GS_CCC he doesn't need to help refund. 70 charge is insane. Double Oberon+plugsuit 50%charger can let even the worst farmers 3 turn loop.
Oberon makes all 3 card types better for farming, not just arts. And it's near impossible for F2P NP1 to farm 90++, which we know is coming.
Oberon is the best farming support.
