Great video Connor ! and congratulations to Jesse! I can live with "Stags" mate but please, please dont let me hear you call Black deer "chocolate " ! LOL Keep up the great work!
Well done mate great effort in helping your mate get his first stag only one thing to point out a lot of young and inexperienced hunters watch your channel this is not a criticism but gun safety was lacking in your latest video especially with a new hunter with his first stag just the way he held the rifle but great effort and yes we live in tasie so they are stags to us would like you to talk more about what gear you use rifle/ammo/clothing cheers Andrew 👍🦌🦌
Appreciate the honest comment mate, firearm safety is number 1 on my list of important things when in the bush. Rifle was only ever loaded when taking a shot or approaching a downed animal. I can see what you mean and even when a rifle is empty the safety rules still need to be in place. And for any inexperienced hunter it Is very easy to get distracted in the moment. Even for us experienced hunters we still all make mistakes. I need to start explaining situations more in my videos. Thanks mate 👍🏻
I agree totally when I was watching the first deer get shot at I am sure it was hit It showed all signs of being hit I reckon OT would be worth a second look
@@rickywoolley9031 I can confirm that the deer has been seen multiple times since on the neighbouring property. No signs of being wounded. Feeding like normal 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing your hunting adventures, keeps me sane while waiting to get down there for my trip in the bush. You’ll bounce back and won’t make the same mistake on the next stag.
I know that mate, ask any Tassie hunter and ask them what they call fallow over here. Not sure if it’s because they are the only breed we have or if there is another reason 👍🏻
Ask every deer hunter in Tasmania and I guarantee 95% will say stag. It’s just how we have always known it down here. Can’t see why it’s such a problem, both male deer 🤷🏻♂️
Well done, and good honest assessment of what happened, can only learn for next time. Congrats Jessie
Great Video! Doesn't get any better than that jelly legged walk up to your first one on the ground! Congrats Jesse!
It’s a great feeling!

appreciate it Shane! I can assure you you'll never have to worry about that!

Calling a buck a stag is like calling a boar a jack. Not on.
Its like Schooners, Midies and Pots...local lingo.... move on please
