Fun fact about the environmentalist minor augment, the Terminus boss is considered "environmental damage" so if you time your slide you can dodge the boss slam attacks. I'm not sure about the charge attack but I've done it for the slams
phd slider is lowkey better, can one shot regular zombies and break armoured zombies and its great for getting out of sticky situations. I was able to get 6 kills with one slide once
7:48 dude. Normal Flopper without this upgrade lets you explode from ground level (in a good position) these stairs CLEAR with Flopper. It’s the EOD that needs HIGH heights. All it does really is make a bigger explosion from a smaller height
I think with Dr Ram, you’re not supposed to run directly head on into the zombies? I feel like it’s more so of what you were saying earlier about it which was using it to sneak and slither past the zombies that are in your way. It’s more so of a “get out of my way” rather than a spear tackle
Exactly. And if you’re in a tricky situation you aren’t going to ram directly in front of the zombie. You’re going to try to pass around the zombies and dr ram is very helpful in those situations. And plus if you’re about to get cornered it makes escaping easier while phd slider will not help at all.
Of course PHD slider helps not get cornered lol the only way to think it doesn't is to not understand how to use it. You can slide through half inch gaps between a zombie train and a wall and anything you even glance off of dies, not to mention the combo with tribologist means you should never get cornered in the first place if you have half a brain

IF you are using the cigma I HIGHLY recommend freefire or stock option. The reload WILL get you killed. For the fight: First phase is easy, just shoot red pimples. Second phase is easy, just shoot tentacles/mouthussy. Third phase however, it has a full wipe ability. It will glow blue with a big orb on it. Your beat bet is to use an explosive weapon (or a field upgrade/gobblegum) and STAY OUT OF LINE OF SIGHT. IT WILL ONESHOT YOU. it also shrinks the arena by blocking off the side paths to go behind it, so it's more cramped. Other than that, just shoot & kill.
With Dr ram you just have to kinda hit them in the shoulder not run into them directly. It's great for getting through doors blacked by zombies, but not for running directly into a horde or at a zombie. WAY better than PhD slider imo
PHD Slider + Tribologist is my favorite combo just for traversing the maps, you can get around so fast especially with Stamin-Up Using the Jet Gun by itself and then with PHD and Stam is a night and day difference
I've been running Tribologist+PHD Slider since day-1. Pro tip: You can chain slides together by timing your slide with landing. Example: slide off a building, aim for a car and slide again off the car, slide a third time when getting to the ground after sliding off the car. This becomes ridiculously awesome when paired with the "Hot Foot" augment on Stamin-Up.
The movement you get from the PHD slider is addictive I’ve flipped the round by accident so many times just because I was sliding around like a mad man for fun
Dr Ram is OP. I've found that the power to knock down zombies depends on how much of a running start you have. Kinda like how the further the distance you flop from the bigger the explosion.
I know the description for PHD Slider says "sliding INTO enemies triggers explosions" but I find it much more useful to slide passed them. If you get a hord in a nice line and slide to either side of them, you'll still get a decent sized explosion and will end up killing a bunch without getting stuck on any of them or breaking your momentum. Coupling it with the tribologist minor is a must. I unlocked these augments a couple of days ago and it's been an absolute game changer. It's like I'm ice skating around the map blowing up zombies as I blast by them. It also triggers when sliding sideways and backwards which makes for some really awesome plays. Don't sleep on it. 😁
Dr. Ram and PhD Slider have the same issues. If you sprint/slide directly into a zombie, you’re gonna get stuck. Dr. Ram is still way more useful for getting out of corners as long as you have enough wiggle room to run through the zombies.
slider is the best option because you can use it to get past narrow gaps when running around hordes of zombies, you use more to gain distance and get throw small gaps than actually use it to hit a bunch of zombies

Its like the head cutter from iw zombies but there no cap on the death clunt. It just keeps going, and its EXTREMELY Effective on Manglers

glad you came around to phd slider over dr ram. Slider does so much more damage and can be used very cleverly with tribologist for insane maneuvering or inflicting dam. You can just clip zombies so they don't stagger you and still trigger explosions. Always insta kills all regular zombies unlike dr. ram. Takes half or a little less of armoured zombies' health and cripples them. If you are a movement demon, you need no ammo or self revives, just this.
Dr Ram could pair well with the cursed talisman especially since the spawns in BO6 are outta wack and they always end up near you even when training a horde.
I think the reason Dr Ram sometimes didn’t seem to work and you were hit or shot by mangler instead is that the tac sprint may be getting cancelled when you take damage, probably worth just spamming the sprint button to make this work the best

I think that PHD Slider and Tribologist is the best because there is a way you can cancel out of the slide by hitting the jump and then sprint key, making it so you can spam it so you can really slide out of tight corners really fast when training zombies.
The augment that negates minor damage isn't pointless, perhaps it can stop you from taking damage from traps? The ticking damage from liberty falls traps are minor, although it could mean you could just stand in the circles and let the zombies come to you without having to weave them back in. Perhaps it could also prevent the tentacles from grabbing you on Terminus. Maybe it can also stop the annoying effects from cars blowing up on Liberty. I'll test this myself
A note on the Dr. Ram augment when Insta-kill is on: you do not earn points when running into Zombies. This may be an oversight from the devs, so it’s possible that gets changed in the future. I also think it would be fun if Dr. Ram and PhD Slider worked together and you’d punch through a whole train of zombies, but due to them both being major augments, that won’t work.
Tribologist and PHD Slider I think is a no brainer, I slide all the time to get out of horde situations and it’s so much better being faster and kill zombies that would usually hit you when you slide past
Flopping with PHD on flat ground or from a higher elevation will guarantee an explosion with and without EOD Technician. It works best with Gravity MD, where that effects the height.
When i'm playing with my brothers, they explode cars around me all the time so that minor for avoiding environmental damage might be more useful if you're playing with multiple people
There's a bunch of environmental hazards on liberty falls. The cars blow up, the dark aether clouds damage you, and that weird radiation thing in spawn and damage you. The traps might count too.

So for phd slider what I've noticed is you actually have a good amount of room where you can slide beside the zombies and still trigger the explosion while going uninterrupted with your slide I've gotten out of multiple bad situations because of phd and tribologist
if you get a perkoholic in liberty falls and combine the PHD augment that allows you to have increased slide speed and stamina up you can actually slide on top of the car next to the dropdown that connects spawn to outside the bowling alley/bank area. basically you can skip buying 2 doors and get to pack a punch in just 2 doors
PhD will always insta kill basic zombies, vermin, and bugs if you can hit them even at the health cap, but armored zombies will need 2 explosions, and boss zombies have a massive resistance to PhD making it useless for them.
12:42 weapon xp you can get from literally just holding it out and standing there, though it’s slow. Anything that gives xp enhances it, including equipment, trap, perk, or power ups
I did that exact ranking change at the end when I started using Dr Ram at higher rounds. It's nice but doesn't consistently help often enough, at least with the way I play.
Pretty sure with a naked PHD, you can dive and explode on flat ground regardless. The height elevates the dmg caused, though. When I first started, my cousin and I were just diving in circles in the graveyard on Liberty, and I had 0 augments researched. I'm pretty sure that augment is designed to be used with the jumping explosion and not the diving.
The first minor that you said is pointess, well it is, unless you're using traps in Liberty Balls and and zombies start to spawn behind you, like they tend to do with traps, to quickly move through it
Also pro-tip: Tribologist + PhD Slider are the obvious combo but Tribologist + Dr Ram is the way IMO. With Dr Ram there's definitely an correct angle you want to hit zombies at to consistently get around them. Never want to hit them dead on.
I'd love one of these for Speed Cola and Jugg. Really looking to find out how much reload speed and armor resilience can be boosted by augments. I know the Jugg augment that gives you extra health takes you up to a max of 300.
You can create the PDH explosion on flat ground normally, its just far weaker than falling from heights, the higher you are the more damage you do, and the minor augment lowers the height you need to be to do more damage seems totally useless compared to the faster longer slides though

I'm very sure you can use the flopper just by diving haha. 😅 this is the perk PhD "FLOP"er the augment falling is because it doesn't work unless diving and also slider changes it to slide.

I don't care if you upload a video testing how many knives it takes to eliminate a zombie per round I'm here for it. Whether it's something I'm super invested in or not I just put it on and listen in the background and don't miss a single one. Keep up the grind and rip to the solo run
Dr Ram works well at glancing angles. It seems to bounce you away from the zombie too, which could actually be better for hordes/SAM trials
phd doesn’t create an explosion around you it creates one in front of you so if you turn towards the zombies it’ll do more damage
PHD once more being the ultra sigma perk

The environmental thing MIGHT work on molotovs. You still take fire damage from molotovs even with PhD since its not EXPLOSIVE damage. Just an FYI.
PhD is such a niche perk in my opinion 9 times out of 10 you get hit 3 times before even triggering it and it kills like 4 zombies
Youve always been able to flat dive trigger phd, that augment helps the gravity one. The gravity one has a certain drop distance to trigger.
So for phd slider what I've noticed is you actually have a good amount of room where you can slide beside the zombies and still trigger the explosion while going uninterrupted with your slide I've gotten out of multiple bad situations because of phd and tribologist
As aomeone who really got into zombies with Cold War, i definitely prefer Slider over Flopper. It just feels more helpful.
if you get a perkoholic in liberty falls and combine the PHD augment that allows you to have increased slide speed and stamina up you can actually slide on top of the car next to the dropdown that connects spawn to outside the bowling alley/bank area. basically you can skip buying 2 doors and get to pack a punch in just 2 doors
I think the 2 sliding augments are the best. I use it like I did in cold war, for repositioning and getting away from bosses. Especially manglers.
PhD will always insta kill basic zombies, vermin, and bugs if you can hit them even at the health cap, but armored zombies will need 2 explosions, and boss zombies have a massive resistance to PhD making it useless for them.
12:42 weapon xp you can get from literally just holding it out and standing there, though it’s slow. Anything that gives xp enhances it, including equipment, trap, perk, or power ups

Tip, instead of just jumping, it’s easier to aim your dolphin dive into the zombies, I can consistently hit it that way

I did that exact ranking change at the end when I started using Dr Ram at higher rounds. It's nice but doesn't consistently help often enough, at least with the way I play.
Pretty sure with a naked PHD, you can dive and explode on flat ground regardless. The height elevates the dmg caused, though. When I first started, my cousin and I were just diving in circles in the graveyard on Liberty, and I had 0 augments researched. I'm pretty sure that augment is designed to be used with the jumping explosion and not the diving.
The first minor that you said is pointess, well it is, unless you're using traps in Liberty Balls and and zombies start to spawn behind you, like they tend to do with traps, to quickly move through it
Loved the look of joy when you used Dr Ram during insta-kill. That's one of our favorite combos in studio as well lol
Also pro-tip: Tribologist + PhD Slider are the obvious combo but Tribologist + Dr Ram is the way IMO. With Dr Ram there's definitely an correct angle you want to hit zombies at to consistently get around them. Never want to hit them dead on.

Dasher from stamin-up and Dr. Ram is a good combo if you prefer to train over camping.
If you slide next to the zombies while kinda looking at them they usually get killed but don't mess up your movement
PHD already gives u the explosion when flopping without an augment at any height. Which is why its named PHD flopper in this
I'd love one of these for Speed Cola and Jugg. Really looking to find out how much reload speed and armor resilience can be boosted by augments.
I know the Jugg augment that gives you extra health takes you up to a max of 300.
You can create the PDH explosion on flat ground normally, its just far weaker than falling from heights, the higher you are the more damage you do, and the minor augment lowers the height you need to be to do more damage
seems totally useless compared to the faster longer slides though
the environmental damage is likely for running through things like the dark aether field traps in LF. haven’t tested myself to see if it works
