China knows that technology will create abundance, but that abundance must be shared equitably if society is going to prosper. These companies are extracting far more wealth than they have been contributing back into the economy in wages. JD is a prime example. They operate lights out distribution centers in several centers and are already using autonomous drones and robotic deliveries as well.

I appreciate Kathy Wood. She is amazing. But I do have to clear up her misunderstanding of the demand for cars presently. She is incorrect. I sell cars. I talk to potential customers, everyday . The reason why people are not purchasing used cars and new cars right now is the following. They don't buy new cars for these reasons. 1) we are a society that is used to touching and driving the car we are potentially going to purchase. So no, we don't want to order and wait for the car to arrive. And the potential customer says , "WTF?! I have to wait 4-6 months for it to arrive?" So they walk away, hoping this will clear up in 3-6 months And people are not buying used cars for these reasons. 1) The used car price is near the new car price , right now. 2) So they are thinking they are going to wait for the new car inventory. The customers thoughts , why pay for a 2019 Ford F-150 with 15,000 miles if they could buy a new 2022 F-150 with zero miles for nearly the same price at MSRP . So they don't buy. They put off the purchase. If this chip problem was corrected today , car sales will shoot through the ceiling within the same week. I hope this helps you Kathy Woods :) You are amazing

Irrelevant data point, she's talking about new car sales. Sounds like you wouldn't have been a new car customer whether electric or ICE. I can assure you the lull in car sales has zero to do with the consumer mindset towards EVs, and everything to do with economic factors (fear or less income), covid, and chip shortage (availability and pricing).

The biggest issue with ARRK is their holdings as it relates to S&P, Nasdaq and DOW. Indexes are at all time highs and Arkk is nowhere near highs. That says a lot about her thesis. Interest rates are low which should help her fund but yet it is not.
No it doesnt... Indexes being at all time highs is a reflection of risk aversion as theyre safer risk assets during a time when cash is trash. If you compare arkk to spy over 3 and 1 yr time periods, its out performing again. Not by much, but you have to understand there was a massive rotation out of high risk and into low risk funds. So even amid that and all the fud, the numbers show shes still doing better and she has a 5 yr horizon. look at what she invests in. its going to take 5-10 yrs for that stuff to really get commercialized.

Even if TSLA does run 100 points from here and her ETF runs 20% that still won't get her ETF to all time highs. TDOC or COIN isn't going to get it there. TDOC is done. COIN is well off its highs. The ETF makeup in its current form and based on where we are in the indexes doesn't bode well.

My car is 5 years old. I’m keeping it to move to an EV. Just waiting on legislation to support the purchase and for a Tesla cybertruck or model 2.
The longer you wait the better the EV you get will be since they are still improving rapidly. (as opposed to an ICE car)
