Love the content, like other people In the comments, glad the algorithm brought me here :). Would love to have more play-by-play out loud thinking. Keep up the great work can’t wait for the next!
Welcome aboard! Glad you like what you see :D We're barely two weeks old, but we're trying to get content out as fast as my over-worked, under-slept wife can handle!
@@jasonsitu5287 oh yes. You're definitely supposed to fold preflop for those 3-bet and 4-bet amounts. Too expensive and out of position too. Not getting the right price to set mine.
When I tell people I'm down lifetime with KK they all look at me as if I'm crazy. While it is a small sample size overall I've ran into AA with my pocket KK waaaaaay more than what seems to be normal. The worst lost I had with it was when flopped a set of KK and lost to AA when he spiked the A on the river.
I have had this same exact experience. I've also had KK run into AA, flopped a K, only to lose to an A on the turn. This has happened to me twice. -_- I've made way more money with Queens. Kings are net negative for me, and massive at that.
another great vlog Aero! Being card dead sucks especially when you don't play long sessions. It's definitely my flaw because after an hour of nothing j/10 off looks okay. I suggest adding a time bar in the corner of the actual time. Then we'd have an idea of the time between your hands. Also I noticed that your sessions always start around 2 am. Do you ever play any other times or is that just the prime time to be playing? I'm debating setting the alarm on the weekends and jumping in some overnight games (I'm also a vegas local) but I love sleeping so it's hard
I like what I've seen in your vids so far. If you want some good options for background music during the video (the right flow at a just-audible volume can add a lot), audionautix.com has a lot of music you can use just with attribution. It's not the only site like that, but it's the one I've found with the widest variety of music. Might be useful.
I will take that into consideration! Since I do so much explorations during my hands, I wonder if music would add to the ambience or be a distraction 🤔
love your content! Do you find that someone can play reasonable games online if they dont have access to a casino? Or is online too strong of a player pool?
In my personal experience, the online game is MUCH worse than live games. The only time I've had a different experience than that is playing in one of those club apps where you have to be personally invited to a club and have a host with whom you exchange money with. That's the online equivalent of playing house games.
I had AK off in the small blind facing 3 limpers (5 to call) 1 2 2 no limit . I raised to 45 and big blind snap call first limper call as well. Rest folded 3 players to the flop. J 3 5 rainbow and I lead out 50 try to give any pockets pressure lower then Jack. And big blind min raise to 100 with another 100 left.first limper fold and I folded them he show me one of the card was a jack which I think was pocket J. And I didn’t expect JJ because no 3 bet pre. Did I make any mistakes on that hand? Thanks
LMAO yeah you don't want to be holding whack random hands in bad position when you're first to act. 10-K in middle position? Insta fold! 2-5 on the button? Ooh a good hand! 😂
Hi Aero, for your 76s Hand, if you did not improve to two pairs and let say the turn was a 5 and under to the flop of Q62. What would you do if the villian continues with the same bet of $150? Given that he's a loose cannon like you'd stated? Thanks in advance.
In that instance, I would smooth call and be prepared to call off another river bet. When you're up against an extremely aggressive player, sometimes you have to just grin and bear it. Gritt your teeth and prepare to take it up the butt if your assessment of the situation is wrong. Just think to yourself, if you make this play 10 times against this same player, will the result be profitable? You'll notice that my opponent folded instantly to barely a min raise, meaning he had complete air. Not so much as a gut shut even.
@@AeroPlaysPoker yup,,,,just be patient with aggressive players, you can trap them in the long run. I have trapped a aggressive player many times being patient. You have to fold to him many times, but you do not lose that much. Depending if u are late in a tournament or not...
Ur last hand with KK u bet half pot on flop when checked to w over pair. Doesn't that go against philosophy?? Shouldn't u bet 60 or 80?? Or u recommend only in lower stakes so that n this is 2/5 so u bet smaller? Just trying to clarify sir and appreciate ur knowledge sharing sir
That's my recommendation for lower stakes, particularly the 1-3 or a 2-5 with only 100 big blind buy in structure. In that structure, no need for deception. Just bet every hand roughly 80-100% pot if you have a strong hand and this should work for most situations. The 2-5 deep stack with a 300 big blind buy in is a completely different monster. A lot of deception is used.
YES! This. :D People give me so much shade for my plays based on what information I have to work with. Pretty easy when they can see what the other people are holding. Not so easy on my side of the table!
In that kqo hand at beginning you said something about your heart beating (fast?) Just wondering do you get a racing heart here or only in big pots or not at all? Curious how many good players get racing hearts still even if it’s a smallish pot cause who knows where it goes. My heart races even when I play micros online for a few bucks so I know it’s not cause I could have a couple bucks invested and my heart will pound sometimes. Is that weird?
Yes it's weird. lol. I said I didn't have a single heart, other than the Braveheart in my chest. Just another movie reference. My pulse doesn't even noticeably increase throwing out a 1k bluff :D
Brad Owen was the first poker vlogger I've ever watched and he seems to do it often. I'm trying to walk in his footsteps 😅 But you know, my channel is a lot more focused on education. So yeah, I think I'll take this to heart from now on and just fold those types of hands.
Awesome video. I was a little harsh in my commenting on your last video (which I regret for being negative for no reason). I’m already a sub but hopefully this comment and the thumbs up kicks in a little to the set mining fund.
I actually consider poker to be similar to rock-paper-sissors. I can beat average players and a good portion of other pros, but it's the crazies that often get me because I can't guess their hands. I actually just gave a new subscriber on the table some advice last night (and he was really receptive of it, unlike a lot of people) because his bet sizes made his hands almost face up. It was an amazing session for the vlog, but sadly won't air until vlog #13. We're pretty backed up right now!
Just my phone on the table 😅 Edit: my wife has informed me that "cam" in this case stands for camouflage and not camera lol. No, I typically wear a long sleeve sports shirt with or without a hood.
Oh no. Definitely not. My style of play is based on deep stack cash. Tournies are a completely different game based on ultra short stack, ICM, and other acronyms I'm unfamiliar with 😅
I usually play for 3-4 hours around midnight. Sleep for 4 hours when I get home. Spend time with the family. Do errands and stuff during normal daylight hours. Squeeze in 3 sessions of the gym per week. Take another 4 hour nap in the evening before work starts all over again!

There's nothing you can do when you get raised and you have no pair no draw lol. You played fine.

Your line “with intention to fold against any substantial raise”makes my skill sky rocket
In the poker World patience and steadiness is mandatory and vital.....
Without it ...
