Hey Cassie, would you consider doing Sunscreen reviews? 🤔 Maybe it's just me but I am newly obsessed with sunscreens bc I find they really can make a huge difference on my base. I just picked up the new Peter Thomas Roth Max Clear and it looks like a nice smoothing primer spf that would work well for oily skin. Shall see 👀 Sunbum has a tinted matte one I just grabbed too. I love watching sunscreen reviews personally 😊
@@morgthestallion Nice. I love Clinique! Is the tint yellow or orange or dark? I heard they reformulated it or discontinued it and brought it back and it's more for medium warm tones but would love your thoughts! 😊 I have like 3 sunscreens I'm about to review but am always on the hunt for a good one. Would love Cassie to review some too. I think she might enjoy the Sunbum Mineral Tint as it has a beautiful matte finish and is great for fair cool tones which is pretty rare I find with tints 😊
Hey, I actually LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE that a brand is brave enough to not put perfume into their foundation because fragnance is the number one skin irritant ingredient. But a lot of companies still put this horrible ingredient in because they are afraid to get your type of reaction " It smells weird" in a youtube review. Please, let's move on from this and look at what matters: if it works and if it's good for the skin. I can tell you that fragnance is not good for the skin. Most people with sensitive skin can't tolerate it and break out (but don't know why) and many people become sensitive and allergic, but don't know why and keep getting break outs from products they used to like. Feel like this had to be said.
I agree. It seems immature. Like ok it smells like ingredients because there’s nothing masking it, get over it. It doesn’t smell once it’s on the face so stop using it as a con. Just don’t mention it at all because it’s completely irrelevant to the product since only added fragrance has the potential to cause issues and headaches from scents
Thank you for always being honest, transparent, and real! ❤️ I have similar skin and I used to get so tired of seeing these influencers with perfect skin or filtered skin giving advice because I always felt like how w/they know really how it w/work on skin that’s less than perfect. I think real is more beautiful! I found you and you have helped me make so many great beauty selections and also save money lol keep being you!! You have a beautiful soul and you’re gorgeous ❤️❤️❤️
Just wanted to say THANK YOU for actually doing an intensive and observational review :”) I feel like so many of these makeup/skincare reviews are so ego-centric, and not actually about the product. You’re so thorough and real. I usually don’t comment, but wanted to just truly highlight how good you are
I was interested in seeing your review just to see how it works on oily skin. I have normal/slightly dry, and it's damn near holy grail status for me. I thought it looked really nice on you with the mattifying primer, but I can see you not liking it for warmer weather months. One thing I will say is that, in my experience anyway, less is more with this foundation. If you decide to give it another shot, maybe try using half as much and see if you like it any better.
I agree. I'd like to see her try this again using less product. It says 1 to 2 pumps. You can't really know if you're using that amount by the way she applied it. As she was applying I kept thinking "use less, use less Cassie", lol. That just might make a huge difference... 🤷♀️
@@tammiemartinez6485 lol I was thinking that too. 😂 Whenever I use foundation I usually only use a pea size for my whole face, so it floors me how much some people use. 😂
On my mature combo oily skin is ok in winter and feels lightweight but it’s not long wearing on me even set with powder and like you I won’t wear it in the summer months when I get sweaty and more oily! I like that it doesn’t settle in my wrinkles
I would love to see a try on review of the BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream now that the weather is warming up! It’s supposed to be amazing for the summer but I’m curious on how it’ll wear on oily skin.
Sad it didn't work for you. I have very oily skin and it works very well for me. I prime with gel like moisturizers and the rich glossier moisturizer, then I use it with their concealer, I set it with powder then CT setting spray then another very light layer of powder and it stays on for 12 hours. I do not get overly oily with this (just my normal oils) and does not transfer with me. Are you going to try the new Rare Beauty Skin tint?
Same! I have oily dehydrated acne prone skin and have to say this wears well on me too and I agree that gel primers/moisturizers etc are a game changer. Peter Thomas Roth has a new gel SPF that goes on like a blurring primer and I am so excited to review it under makeup. Have you tried that one? The Max Clear
This is a great review, so thorough! I just bought this for myself and I’m excited to try it- I don’t get oily so fingers crossed for a good result!! The ingredients are just so good, I want to love it. The smell doesn’t bother me- I’m pretty sure that’s the zinc oxide in there.
Sorry if you already have a video of this and I just haven't seen it! But it would be cool to do a video of the top 5 drugstore foundations, top 5 middle price range foundations and top 5 high end foundations. 😊
I just bought this foundation too…haven’t tried it yet was just going to hope for the best because I havent watch any videos of it, i just kinda see it online a lot….but this video of yours came just in time! …great timing so I know what to expect now…lol
I am dying bc I also reviewed this foundation and mentioned that it smells like "grass" (and NOT the kind that grows in the ground 🤣) but I prefer that over added fragrance. Now on my (30+ oily dehydrated acne prone) skin I really love this foundation. I find hydrating well with gels and the right primer helps to keep my oils at bay without emphasizing dry patches or breakouts (ya I have ALL the skin concerns lol). The ONLY complaint is the fairest cool shade (120) is not that fair and Kosas runs pretty yellow. I can get away with 120c and .5n in the concealer but I wish they would work on their cool undertones bc their line is bomb for all my skin concerns. Cassie can you review the new Tarte Cloud matte foundation? It's one of my new favs especially for oily skin 😊
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ I have this foundation, I like it ok, enough to not return it if you know what I mean….. less is definitely more with this one. And that is interesting because I did not notice any fragrance with this product whatsoever, hmmmm odd. Maybe play around with it a bit And hopefully it will improve for you. I thought it looked OK I just looked like you had too much on IMO.
Honestly, I think shade 120-very light cool might work better for you. The neutral doesn’t look like a good match. It actually gives a yellow tint whereas your neck looks like a paler, cool tone.
I'm interested to see what your opinion is of this new Kosas Foundation! I tried it in- store during the Sephora VIB ROUGE sale and just didn't like it-- at least not on me.
Always enjoy your content!! Wear tests are SO helpful!!! Love the kitty spam!! I think I'll pass on this one, but it looked nice on you!!! Blessings to you and your fur babies!! ✌️💚🙏
Also I found it pretty runny and liquidy. I have combo skin, btw. I REALLY wanted to like it, but my 1st impressions were disappointing! But I might get a sample and try it at home. Idk.
Hi Cassie, awesome video as usual ❣️ I was wondering if you could do a review Wayne Goss''s new cream foundation? I was so happy you reviewed this (Kosas) one. It looks so good ❤️ Hope you have a Happy Easter 🐇✝️🌼🌺🐰
I second this! I have oily dehydrated acne prone skin and am super excited to review it myself but would love to see Cassie try it too. Wayne's products are usually awesome. I hope she sees this!
Just found out my "acne" is fungus.... I also struggle with picking at my face as well, the culprit is from snuggling my 3 cats too much 😭 cat lady for life though!
Cassie! "Good Evening"! What a great review - for $42, I think I'll pass as I'm still stuck on the serum/skin tint style foundation. Thank you so much!! 💓
To me it smelled like beeswax but like... unpleasant beeswax, which is weird bc beeswax is one of my favorite smells. I ended up returning mine just because the shade was so off, as Kosas tends to be for a lot of people from what I've seen and heard.
Agreed. While I personally love niacinimide, I feel the same way about SPF. I am very particular about SPFs as my skin breaks out a lot from it as an additive. Fortunately not this one but I wish they would ease up with all these added "skincare benefits" that many don't enjoy or have reactions to. I would rather be in control of my own skincare. Guess I'm in the ladder camp tho
I know! I feel make up should just be makeup and then I’ll pick my own spf and skin care thanks! It’s so personal to each person what works and what doesn’t. I feel the same about fragrances in makeup, I’m often sensitive to that too so many of the big brands are ruled out for me, Chanel for one 😭 I wish the big brands would offer a fragrance free version for us sensitive gals
@@abethebabe3835 Plus the amount of sunscreen in makeup (and the amount you're applying) isn't actually enough to really protect you so people use it thinking that's all they need to use and it's like NOPE! You *still* have to use more, I do wish they would just leave it out. Blargh.
Agreed! Too much niacinamide can cause irritation/reactions like it seems to in my skin. I'd rather just have a dedicated niacinamide serum and leave it out of everything else so I can control how much I'm using
Ugh I was soooooo deeply dissapointed in this product... It's strange as the ingredients imply mt skin wil loooooove it... But all 3 times... their original oil skit tint... their revealer concealer and now this.... They all fall so flat for me, and I unloaded them!
