- Hello Everyone, Margalla is a small railway station in vicinity of Islamabad to cater the needs of Islamabad residents. Although main railway station for Rawalpindi/Islamabad remains as Rawalpindi but still two trains are operated from Islamabad station including Greenline and Islamabad Express (non-stop railcar).
Today I am traveling on non-stop Islamabad Express from Islamabad to Lahore and that too on AC Parlor car.
This vlog will also tell about my whereabouts in last month so plz watch it in full. And do comment your feedback once done :) Thank You

ماشاء اللہ! آپکے ٹرین سفر کے ذریعہ کم ازکم پاکستان کے شہر تو نہیں ریلوے اسٹیشن ہی دیکھنے کو ملے! سب کچھ ہمارے بھارت جیسا ہی تھا، اسٹیشن صاف ستھرے ،رمضان کی وجہ سے غالبا بھیڑ کم ہی تھی، پاکستان میں ٹرین سیٹیاں کم بجاتی ہیں کیا، پوری ویڈیو میں شائد ا بار سنائ دی، اجگہ اسٹیشن پر کتا بھی آرام کرتا نظر آیا_ افطار کا سامان عمدہ تھا لیکن اہم چیز پانی ندارد تھا، خیر! پوریطویڈیو دیکھ کر کہیں بھی نہ لگا کہ ہم الگ الگ ممالک کے باسی ہیں۔ بس ایک سرحد ہے جس کے اُس اور اِس پار آدھ گھنٹہ کا بس فرق ہے۔ ہوسکے تو کراچی شیر کی ویڈیو بنائیےجسمیں وہاں کے رہن سہن کی تصویریں ہوں۔

Tell Ur government to move to build a line at least north of Rawalpindiiiiii with beautiful Karakoram (even I know there are many problems because of mountains, slides, etc etc) the people would have many advantages... And we railfans tooo

0:14 the station looks extremely cute, so full of solitude that perhaps one can spend time in zen meditation and explore the station and surroundings and yet feel great, one with themselves and enjoy an uplifting positive energy and happiness.
Islamabad was always a beautiful city and the city per se is fantastic!!. This is a beautiful vlog and entertaining enjoying it already. The purple flowers are there in Bangalore too and this is the season where they are in full bloom... jacaranda, that’s the name, yes!!.!.
00:26 this is a bit like chair car (CC) in our Shatabdi trains (that link state capitals)... the interiors are as good as our Shatabdi and thankfully 1000 times better than the Tejas express interiors which looks like a just born kid with no colour sense designed it. The seat colour complements the overall aesthetics and doesn’t look jarring...
The interiors, lighting etc are reminiscent of the Shatabdi trains.. not missing them @ all!!.. great!!..
4:31-4:34 the flowers are great!.. surreal!!!.. the sense of planning is profound in whoever’s done all this... hats off!!..
6:55, SHF is short hood forward mode..
Empty sleeper class (economy class) coach!!.. wow!!.. the slums are an eyesore. After such a beautiful scenery and station, the slum is a huge detractor...
Nur is also as good as MGLA I must say....

Margalla reminded of small stations in the Swiss Alps. The blue/purple flower looked like Jacaranda (but I am sure I'm wrong!). You were amazing after five consecutive days of flight cancellations. Exceptional spirit!

Thanks a lot Dave. Flowers, plants and trees overall improve aesthetics of any station and they are also great for environment. It was built in 1979 and re-inaugurated in 2009 with touch ups.
I also travelled in 6Dn green line with same locomotive GEU-20 4568 in march 2021

Margalla station is very beautiful and scenic one. I discovered this place back in 1992 during my school age. We used to live near by at F block rawalpindi, and almost every weekend either summer or winters I used to go there on my bicycle. It was almost 4 to 5 km away from my home. I have a lot of beautiful memories with this place.
That time it used to be at least 10 times more green and trees not only at the station but surrounding sectors were also lush green and surrounding with green belts.
I used to drive bicycle all the way from F-block to Margalla station and then onward to noor junction station which is almost some 10 km away. Noor junction is another beautiful place .
Kindly arrange one vlog especially for Noor Junction as well . I hope Noor junction is surrounded in many newly established residential areas. That time it used to be away from residential areas and beautiful natural site .
