That was a intense match, I think the biggest mistake was abandoning the southern flank, once you abandon a flank naturually opponents will funnel in center, good rule of thumb is even if you are loosing flank still keep that player occupied in the flank, They had so much armored at the end because of all the resource they were producing because of that abandoned flank. On the other hand try playing with 2 teammates pushing mid and the other 2 on there own flanks, once you can get mid down that other player can rotate to either flanks, anyways im surprised yall held up so long in mid, great job
Also, forgive my grammer but the Basterlegeri are extremely good infantry but the trick is you need like 4, with the automatic rifles shooting at the same enemy and you will absolutely melt, As long as you can clump without an enemy MG punishing you (Like in this game) absolutely do that with the Basterlegeri it will pay off
Appreciate the comment and feedback, feral! Overall, I think you’re right, the southern flank was a major problem both strategically and in terms of resources. I was the one player in the south who had the mobility to hold the southern position, while also supporting center. Bersas + jaegers + T2 would’ve been sufficient. Honestly a good learning lesson for me as DAK.
Yeah, I agree Step. There are so many options and moving parts as well. I think going for Pgrens would have been way stronger this match, better scalability and snares, especially in the late game.
I think the lack of Armory upgrades really began to tell the later the game got as even some panic smokes could of save some of the Marders that died to say nothing of the self-repairing upgrade and extra health buff that comes with both of them. The self-repair even more crucial then normal as you went with a Bersa heavy approach, which as much as I want to love them, their lack of AT snare and ability to repair on such a vehicle heavy faction kinda kills them for me and not worth their early game presence imho. But anyways you did the best you could under the heavy pressure the enemy team subjected to you guys.
Couldn’t agree more, Shock. I think that’s a pretty good analysis of where I went wrong in the match. The armory upgrades are essential, smoke first for the extra HP & 💨, especially if you’re going for Bersa’s - as you pointed out. I started to take armor losses as the game progressed, Stugs & Marders, and I could have kept them alive with the upgrades. Bersas are a big mistake on center position of that map I think, because any of the advantages early on are nullified. Overall, was still a good match and I learned quite a bit from that game. Thanks for the kind words and supporting the channel, shock! GG
USF carpet bomb ,bulldozer and hellcats are crazy enough + those rangers with 6 slot for weapon are just pure nonsense plus those assault suicide blob ,not sure what was in the relic designers head to make these things .
God damn, 295 1v1 matches, I guess that was the learning period as there is no rank anymore :D Also, funny to think that, if playing this match with low elo randoms, it would have already ended in 15-20min with losing bottom and the first push on middle😅 the whole team would have just collectively left the match
Haha yeah, they did a good job keeping up the pressure and maintaining map control. Bombing runs and assault pushes in the middle were also very well played. I fell behind and could never recover. We faced the same 3 guys again soon after and they did the same strategy but we shut it down very quick this time. Was a much easier game but I also wasn’t playing DAK 😂. I need to work on that faction the most. It’s really fun to play but I’m just not experienced enough with them in late game scenarios.
Yeah this match really showed me that bersaglieri are very squishy right now, almost a version of russian conscripts in CoH 2 :D I saw this pointed out in the Discord some time ago, even recommending to not use them at all. And I think you should really upload any comeback matches you have. I think it would be very interesting for everyone to analyse how you guys adapt and overcome your strong enemies strategy.
@@matasgrigaravicius4793 Yeah, you gain momentum early, but lose a lot of late game value with Bersas. And absolutely, I will be uploading comeback matches like that whenever they happen 🫡
tiger tank now is a joke melted in 5 seconds they use to have decent front armor , I feel like with dak you should spend most of time to repair vehicles and try not to loose them :/ marders slow and somehow useless ,unless you make a big blob of them only works on open maps .it seems Caro spam or P3 spam is the only way for dak,DAK is a faction full of weird vehicles that hard to find any decent one among them
Yeah, I was kind of surprised how quick it went down but I also overextended a little bit. If I had the armory upgrades, I could have popped the smoke and escaped. No excuse 😢 but there was overwhelming allied armor haha
Thanks jump, glad to hear you enjoyed the match and thank you for supporting the channel! Hmm yeah, I think the Stug did underperform for me this game. I think it’s partially due to my decision making as well tho, as I could have probably been more aggressive in the center with them.
This is the first game where I have seen you guys lose. Thank you for posting, I enjoyed it.
Haha oh that’s too funny! I think we have lost about 2-3 games in the last 180 matches played. But I will definitely post more losses.

it was intense
Agreed, tough game
I think DAK is the hardest faction too. You can't let any unit get wiped off the map or it will never catch up with the allies in manpower.

LOL Yeah, that was the full arsenal of the USF that game - Airborne + Advanced Infantry.

Btw I mentioned 1v1s because ai remember you saying you didn’t really liked that game mode, and there it is with the most matches played :D

Good match, DAK Stug III is very underwhelming- feel like your early gas and manpower could be better spent elsewhere
