Here's a quick guide on how to get the Sudden Death Rune in Season of Discovery! I hope this helps you get the rune, it took me about an hour of attempts to learn this fight and get it. I hope you get it on your first try using this!

Awesome guide, brother!
I did it successfully, choosing easy difficulty at level 56, and I got the rune. I STRONGLY recommend using Victory Rush. The specters technically give 8xp, so it's a 'healing phase'. And on easy, the thunderclap barely knocks you back. I would recommend eating it in the center. Good luck boys!

if you dont have faster run boots like me, position yourself so you can dodge purple attack kinda close to the corners already before he casts an ability.
with the ghost... try to put your camera right above yourself (i still hate wow with things like this becase its so hard to see abilities like this)
dont worry about your damage rotation. the damage is high enough no matter what you press and the healing from ghosts with victory rush is enough too to sustain infinite amount of time

I agree wholeheartedly. This was the most fun I've had in Classic in a long time. I love this type of solo challenge that I could attempt on my own time. The reward being valuable made it even better! When I see someone with Sudden Death in the open world, I know they've accomplished something cool!
