Yooooooo what up bro! Your collection is siccccccc! (I also reccomend the Horizon if you have not tried it. Its 3 volumes and suuuper dark/emotional but amazing!)
@40:57 "oof" 😅 Nice vid to start the new year! If you end up reading Drifting Classroom or finishing Dead Dead Demon's I would love to hear your thoughts on the series. Jojo's is also worth continuing, it just keeps getting better with each part.
Haha youtube is weird when it comes to lewd or violent content. I'm starting Drifting Classroom this year. Got back on Dead Dead Demon's as well. Really want to do a video for it after finishing it.
love your vids man, going through a quite difficult time of getting sober at moment (soz to leave the negative message). But thank you for everything and helping me through, your vids always have level of comfort and safety, Keep it going please bro
Happy new year to you as well! Don't apologize for a thing. I'm glad that these videos could bring you any comfort at all. Never even considered that anything on this channel could impact anyone emotionally, so if this helps in any way, I'm happy to be of service. Please take care of yourself! 🙏 Don't worry, there is plenty more to come in 2024!
I started following u last january on this exect vid, crazy how time moves so fast.Btw ur doing great i always make cop of coffe to watch ur videos, they are always so chill so it helps me relax when i am not felling so good ty and keep doing this ur smashing it🥳🎉❤
That's awesome to hear! Thanks for sticking around for that long! It is pretty amazing how fast a year and come and go. Grateful to have you watch these videos. It means a lot to me. 🙏🙏
Happy new year! Haha I picked it up after you commented about it. I looked up some details and it looked like a pretty intense story. Kind of reminded me of PTSD Radio in it's art style.
With 20th Century Boys, after the main story ended, fans had a lot of questions about things that didn't get resolved and 21st Century Boys is Urasawa addressing those loose ends. Nice to see you have a copy of Satoshi Kon's Opus, the real shame with that is that Kon died before finishing it. Also, Kon was Katsuhiro Otomo's right-hand man for Akira, which I don't see at all in your collection. If you saw the animated film, it only scratches the surface of the breadth of the story and the film ends right where the story really gets going in the manga. Also, I cannot recommend highly enough Satoru Noda's Golden Kamuy which has 31 volumes. Unfortunately, I think I was the only person in the US reading it (I'm joking, of course) so I don't think it'll get the omnibus treatment from Viz. Taking place just after the end of Japan's war with Russia, the main character a veteran, Sugimoto, needs money for reasons that you are not told for some time. While he's panning for gold in a river, the town drunk mentions a story about Ainu gold that was collected and hidden, the "map" to which is apparently tattooed on the torsos of a gaggle of escaped prisoners. Sugimoto is not inclined to believe him until he notices the guy has a weird tattoo on his chest and back. This leads him searching for these prisoners and connects him to an Ainu girl named Asirpa whose father initiated the entire affair and she is apparently the only one that can solve the "map" presented on the prisoners' skins. Asirpa is easily one of the best things about the series which is full of interesting moments and characters. I am not doing it justice with this summary.
I saw the first season of the anime for Golden Kamuy and loved it. The characters were so much fun. And the more serious moments also worked pretty well. Might stick to the anime myself given how massive that book collection is.
@@eclecticcollector88 I've been meaning to catch both the Golden Kamuy and Vinland Saga animes but just haven't gotten around to them. But then I'm a weirdo and I prefer manga to anime.
@@eclecticcollector88 I used to be so too - but I'm all about digital nowadays. It's a joy - less of a hassle. Though - I will admit...having various pieces of beautiful art in front of you in the form of LPs and whatnot IS something I miss. I'll keep an eye on what you put out. I'm entrenched in all things media - and it is rare to come across something like what you're doing. No obnoxious BGM. No screaming at the camera. No jump cuts, etc. Reminding me of old-school UA-cam. Keep it up...!
Beautifully curated collection. Nice to see a collection that isn't full of just hyped series.

Where did you buy the climber? I didn't know it had an English release *edit ahh it's in Italian
The version I have is in Spanish, but it in Italian as well. I was only able to find the first two volumes though.
Enjoying the videos. How long has it taken for you to accumulate this collection - if you don't mind me asking?
Started collecting in 2015, so almost nine years. I've always been a fan of physical media. Thanks for watching! 🙏
