強颱凱米颱風過境7天後，拜訪台灣苗栗汶水溪,水位甚高但仍清澈，不似平常午後雷陣雨暴漲後的多沙石型態。從啟航點到八卦力溪4.5K/2hr， 八卦力溪到終點4k/50min。
泰安觀止下游壩旁起點到錦卦大橋難度甚高，適合航行水位約319.90-320.20左右
錦卦大橋下游河道應可航行320.20以上的水位。

That lower section looks a lot better than I expected. We have an saying in English called "reach for the green". It means, when you are stuck in a hole, lean all the way forward, and try to get your paddle into the green water behind the boil line. Because the aerated water in the hole is too light, your paddle won't stick, and so paddling there doesn't provide much benefit. So we have to reach as far in front of us as possible to find purchase.
