If you are drawing, painting or hand writing at your desk, you should also consider access to daylight. Your desk will be darker, if you move it away from the window. Right handed people might consider the light coming from the front or from the left, so that you don't shadow your right hand with your body. If you work with a screen, you might also consider reflections. I would not place a desk at the opposite site of the window.
Your content, delivery, honesty, and intelligence are greatly appreciated. Thank you for the depth of commitment that you dedicate to your videos. Congratulations on a vendor acknowledging your work and sending you the lamp (it is lovely-especially the base and brass details). I will continue to share your videos with friends and family.
Sounds like a grounded explanation to feng sui recommendations. I never understood why some people hate feng sui so much, like, there's a real, scientific sense for it lol I hope those people find this video! ❤
love your contents,i don’t have a plan to be a interior designer myself but i have passion for beautifying my home.your videos are one of the things that has helped me level up my decorating skills, thank u💙
I really enjoy your explanations of the psychology of home design in addition to the aesthetics. And congrats on your first vendor partnership, nice lamp!
Hi, Bai Xu! I really appreciate your work & content. What I really like about your videos is that they are very easy to follow. I think it's because you provide space in your videos alongside with constructive visual images. The space (more quiet parts with some background music/noise and transitioning pictures/titles/lists) that you create reminds me of how great ghibli movies are, because they are slow-paced and gives us as the viewer time and space to digest and process the information. You also have a really soothing and clear voice. I genuinely value your use of lists. It makes it so easy to follow, and us viewers can screenshot it to save for later use for quick notes. So my wish as a viewer and recent subscriber is if you could keep providing us with the lists. The transitions with only titles are also really beautiful though, and I would truly love if you could then also end the video still providing the whole summary.
I thought I was strange for not liking my back to the door. And I always position my sofa in the nook of the room! just sold my house after two years because I have never been comfortable with the layout… so I’m not weird! Thank you 😂
I honestly thought I wanna have the left one because I feel like I might have a better posture 😂 but anyway such a good video again. So interesting how far reaching and complex design is. So crazy how many insights you share❤❤thank you!
I have a large living area. This explains so much about why the room isn’t really working. I don’t want a huge sectional but did consider it because the room is low on cozy. It has nice wood walls and a wood stove so those help.

I have picked the red chair to sit more upright and engage more easy in watching tv or in a conversation with eye contact.

Fascinating! We are always told”get the furniture iff the walls” but instinctively I haven’t done that
Love how transparent you are with the ads :D

That extra frame inside the box is such a great idea! Stop the box from getting squished... hopefully
Love your videos and psy insights of design. The lamp is adorable.
Thank you, very useful. Helped me decide where to place the bed in my bedroom.

Man that lamp 🤌🏻❤
6:58 That’s a good thing to tell people, I will tell that to my husband, haha.
Grats on the freebie/ priceless trophy.
Love your unique approach to design 😊
This video reminded me a bit of feng shui principles.
I move furniture too 😊
Where did you get your chair?
Lobe the tiger on the back 😂
❤❤❤
My desk is facing the window and behind my back is the door, nobody can come in my house i see them walking in the garden. So i feel safe
I have to move the position of my bed 😅
we can work on it together!
I actually picked the one on the left loool the right one looks ugly and uncomfortable to me sorry 😅
I’m not even going to watch this. I wouldn’t choose either. I’d rather sit on the floor
Everyone is different, the floor can also be fun!
