Yay! A new washer and dryer. It's so hard to be without that. You probably already know this (I just learned it a few months ago after about 25 years), the door on your dryer can be flipped the other way so it opens towards your washing machine. Makes it much easier to transfer the clothes. I was able to change it myself after realizing it was possible - so you won't have to add to your honey-do list. 😀
I just love folding clothes! I was soooo happy to see you doing your laundry at home . Pork steak are a big thing in St. Louis. My aunts used to barbecue them, make a green salad and the tuned pasta had spaghetti sauce . I just loved going to seemy relatives in St. Louis ! Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of yours ! BTW I like the hope chest against the wall , you were right ! What a big difference !

T here, as I type this I'm laughing and crying at the same time, we lost our (almost 17 years old) Yorkie yesterday and it has been terrible for my family!!! Love that precious willow and maxi boy for me plz. Love love your videos!!!

If you had soaked your pork chops in buttermilk while you cleaned the house they woukd've been more moist & tastier. Pork chios, chicken or steaks can be done this way if you're going to fry them. You can also use instant potatoes to thicken your gravy. 😊
Oh I’m so happy for you happy day on the washer dryer 🎉🎉🎉 a little hint that I do to get clothes out of washer is what I call a grabber and I just keep it hanging in laundry. You can get it on Amazon I search the limited mobility section. Or you could get a long set of BBQ tongs hope that helps.
Love this. I keep a blanket on back of my couch too.but I keep one on the part where we sit too.a twin sheet works or a big throw blanket . Love your home.

I wanted to tell you I make homemade whip topping all the time with my stand mixer , just keep mixing until stiff peaks and I don’t put the sugar in till it’s finished mixing also . I’m definitely gonna make those cabbage rolls ! You starve me to death when I watch you cook .

Switch to vinegar and essential oil. You’ll not have to buy any other cleaners and your cupboards will be empty and chemical free! And Penniesto use. Lemon oil for furniture is chemical free and smells delicious.. same for laundry soap they are All chemicals Peppermint oil is so nice for Christmas. Love your new Maytags, the best imo.
Valerie, My front loader never smelled but I wipe the door seal out every time and left the door open slightly when not in use. I learned this because my mother in laws always smelled like mildew. Hers was replaced after a recall. All the being said, we also went with a top loader without one iota of regret!!! Good move!

I am amazed at how much you have changed the mobile home. It would of been easy to get discouraged once you saw the rough condition it was in when you got there. We just got a new washer/dryer last week. We also went back to a top loader. It’s nice not having to leave the door open all the time because of mold issues.

If the washer and dryer could be moved to allow a gap between them you could get collapsible laundry baskets that tuck into the slot. My daughter in law has done this. Mine are too close together to do. I just avoid laundry baskets. I fold and put away repeatedly using the steps as my exercise. Efficiency isn’t the goal..movement is😁
They have the wire expandable shelves you could put in there and those you can take with when you leave.....they work great in food storage areas and in bathroom cabinets. For under sink storage.
Your quilt and shames looks so pretty on the back of your couch. So glad you got your washer and dryer, I use to have to go to the laundry mat also, when I got a washer and dryer I could not believe how much more time to do other things in the house I had.

Until this year, we always had honey baked ham and Turkey and I made all the normal sides of potatoes, rolls, salad, green beans, broccoli casserole, sweet potatoes, olives, pumpkin pie, and don’t forget stuffing.

Maytag is the best, in my opinion! My washer and dryer are 27 years and will probably last twice that long! I love that Willow Berry, she's a little cutie pie!
Once a year I wash my comforters and canvas totes (like the L.L.Bean kind) in the big machines at the Laundromat and it reminds me to be soooooo grateful that I have my own set at home.🙌🏻🥲
I complain about having to go to the basement to do our laundry but not as bad as when the washer is broke down and I have to go to the laundry mat. lol Suggestion… I’d get Tim to put a shelf over the washer and dryer where you sign is for just the main laundry supplies. It looks like it would be easier. Where mine is in the dungeon I don’t do anything cute lol We love pork steaks!! Good choice on the top load washer! I had a front load and even after cleaning it over and over,nit smelled awful and so did or clothes. We got a top loader with an agitator. No more smelly laundry!!!
I have always had a front loader, most people in the UK do (where I grew up), never ever had a problem with it smelling or the clothes smelling, they spin the clothes really well. I have never had a dryer though, do you get the same problem with that being a front loader?
@@janetpendlebury6808 I think the problem here is that in the US the Department of Energy made a ruling about the amount of water that may be used by residential clothes washers. There was simply not enough water dispersed into the washer to properly wash and rinse the clothes. I have used front load washers many times before this “new and improved “ energy policy took place, and NEVER had an problem with foul smelling clothes. The dryer had nothing to do with the problem
Hi Valerie, I need to purchase a vacuum like the one you have. So glad you finally got your washer and dryer. The laundromat is my least favorite for getting laundry done. My daughter has a dog like Willow Berry and she is also sweet and precious. ❤
O grate on the new washer w d dryer. I need new ones too. I was wondering why u use both fabric softener AND a dryer sheet. I heard or read somewhere that dryer sheets make some I d of film build up in ur dryer so lint and and will stick to motor parts inside the dryer causing a fire hazard. I stopped using them when I saw this. They do make good use in washer on rinse cycle.
I love getting new appliances! I fold my clothes from the dryer into a basket as I hate folding as well. Those pork steaks look yummy, will have to try making them

Funny you mention fire starters. We've made homemade fire starters in the past with lint, paraffin wax & sawdust. We definitely need to make more.

YAY!!! I’m so happy for you!😀 I remember having to walk to the laundromat all the time, it was such a pain having to lug all that clothes there and back. I mean, I’m grateful for laundromats but it was hard. Ain’t nothing better than doing your laundry at home in your own washer and dryer!❤❤❤

Maytag is the best, in my opinion! My washer and dryer are 27 years and will probably last twice that long! I love that Willow Berry, she's a little cutie pie!

Once a year I wash my comforters and canvas totes (like the L.L.Bean kind) in the big machines at the Laundromat and it reminds me to be soooooo grateful that I have my own set at home.🙌🏻🥲
I complain about having to go to the basement to do our laundry but not as bad as when the washer is broke down and I have to go to the laundry mat. lol
Suggestion… I’d get Tim to put a shelf over the washer and dryer where you sign is for just the main laundry supplies. It looks like it would be easier. Where mine is in the dungeon I don’t do anything cute lol

Good choice on the top load washer! I had a front load and even after cleaning it over and over,nit smelled awful and so did or clothes. We got a top loader with an agitator. No more smelly laundry!!!
I have always had a front loader, most people in the UK do (where I grew up), never ever had a problem with it smelling or the clothes smelling, they spin the clothes really well. I have never had a dryer though, do you get the same problem with that being a front loader?
@@janetpendlebury6808 I think the problem here is that in the US the Department of Energy made a ruling about the amount of water that may be used by residential clothes washers. There was simply not enough water dispersed into the washer to properly wash and rinse the clothes. I have used front load washers many times before this “new and improved “ energy policy took place, and NEVER had an problem with foul smelling clothes. The dryer had nothing to do with the problem

Hi Valerie, I need to purchase a vacuum like the one you have. So glad you finally got your washer and dryer. The laundromat is my least favorite for getting laundry done. My daughter has a dog like Willow Berry and she is also sweet and precious. ❤
O grate on the new washer w d dryer. I need new ones too. I was wondering why u use both fabric softener AND a dryer sheet. I heard or read somewhere that dryer sheets make some I d of film build up in ur dryer so lint and and will stick to motor parts inside the dryer causing a fire hazard. I stopped using them when I saw this. They do make good use in washer on rinse cycle.
I love getting new appliances! I fold my clothes from the dryer into a basket as I hate folding as well. Those pork steaks look yummy, will have to try making them
