I haven't had their Straight bourbon but I am almost at the last bit of the PiggyBack 6 year rye. I had a dram of it last night and for the first time in years I went ahead and did ginger and rye cocktail and it was alright. I forgot how whiskies taste with sodas. As for the WhislePig my guess is their 10, 12 year olds is where the Whistepig likely shines but they are just ridiculously high priced. Cheers!
I enjoyed their rye, and now I'm enjoying their bourbon... Not only would their 10 and 12 year old rye whiskey be expensive, it would be sourced from Alberta Premium, but matured in Vermont
@@foodquigThat's a great point Quig. They use Rye sourced from AP. Speaking of AP, the AP cask strength is probably a very good rye to savor. I have a bottle from 2021 I believe. I may crack that one open once PiggyBack is done.
I just picked that up for 48 in Kansas
Canadian dollars are smaller...
