Those Oris Big Crown Pro Pilots fit really well. The legibility is top notch also. I too stopped looking for and lusting after watches when I found my current daily. This Oris has reawakened the thirst. Thanks Carl. 😅
love that linen workshirt man! that's exactly what i've been looking for! trying to get into linen to beat the TN heat, but haven't been able to find ones that i like the look off - way too much of the flowy vacation look for me. that thing though, that is perfect!

Dyneema, I’ve had two pairs of cycling shoes made of that fabric. BOTH pairs have ripped within a year of wearing them. $450 mspr each I believe. 15x stronger than steel by weight. By weight is the key factor I guess. They weight almost nothing. So they didn’t hold up too well unfortunately.

The Island sorta reminds me of Sam Rockwell in Moon. Sad, but beautiful and underrated movie IMHO. Hey fun fact about Ewan McGregor, he’s a selfless and dedicated advocate of the loafer. Don’t hate on Obi Wan he walks softly yet elegantly on the Death Star.
I was disappointed in Katos button down it felt like cheap cotton and there were atleast 3 layers on fabric in the shirt. Their pants were great but had durability issues because I wore them all the time
