Skiing Crested Butte as a day trip from Denver?

Crested Butte is a long way from Denver - over 4 hours. I really wanted to experience the resort though and I had only scheduled one day. This place is beautiful and I feel like I got a decent feeling of the resort even though I was only there for a few hours. It's worth the trip.

I don't think Rambo is the steepest run in bounds. Its the steepest TREE CUT run in North America, but that doesnt count above tree line terrain, which is much steeper. Actually, the steepest run in the resort, as far as I know, is Third bowl.
