My prediction for the provincial elections, are that the ANC will be where the EFF is now, EFF will die a quick death, VF Plus and Gayton's support will double, but the DA will get more than 51% in most of the province's. Watch this space. The ANC just disregarded the voices of the people, while the rest are trying to do their best with the crumbs that were throw their way...

A easier low hanging fruit would be to fix Joburg water and water issues generally in South Africa, the DA minister of education can eliminate pit toilets, bring down crime like in KZN, fix home affairs and the housing backlog, improve health and educational services. If most of these things can be done by means of a more efficient and responsive government .I think votes for the ANC and the DA will go up .The radical left will hopefully be thrown to the political wilderness.

Completely disagree with you on Eskom… the difference is that there is competent leadership at the helm. Andre was utterly hapless, useless etc. and the numbers don’t lie. He clearly hoodwinked many people, Mr. Sham included! Merely saying that “people have stopped stealing and that’s why Eskom is working again” is a very glib and disappointing explanation Mr Sham. We can’t be so simplistic in analysis.
De Ruyter was hopelessly powerless against cartels and ANC corrupt cadres whose job was to sabotage his job and protect their incompetence and corruption
