- Ms. Vivian Morello, (or simply better known as Ms. Morello) is a recurring character in Everybody Hates Chris. She was a teacher at Corleone Junior High School and later took up the job as the principal of Tattaglia High School. The role of Ms. Morello is portrayed by Jacqueline Mazarella. Ms. Vivian Morello is Chris's naively racist teacher, and later his high school principal. Due to her apparent attraction to African American men, she holds a soft spot for Chris and tries to support him at every opportunity (such as giving him a Valentine's Day card out of sympathy or giving him advice on running for the class president). In her efforts to be sweet, kind, and supportive, she makes statements that come off as racist which she can never really realizes - such as saying that "black people" must wake up and work up fields before sunrise, that they have tendencies towards vandalism, criminality, and drugs, that they often lay use of lies and blackmail to rise in life, that Chris has no father and his mother is crack-addicted, and when Chris tries to tell her the truth, she assumes Chris is lying because "he is on drugs" -, most of which Chris tolerates. Chris Rock's narration often consists of him wanting to physically hurt her as well as making sarcastic remarks on her ethnicity as she does to him.

Ms Morello, Mr Omar and Killmoves in my opinion are the most icon recurring characters to ever grace my TV screen. They weren’t overly used but when they were on screen I laughed after majority of their scenes 😂

As much I despise her commentary towards Chris, she got stunning natural white beautiful teeth! I think she also appeared on Are We There Yet tv series, as a different character.
I am not gonna lie, I loved this show as a kid and I always thought Ms. Morelo was really nice because she reminded a lot of some teachers in HS. Now that I am older I realized that they were something else

She would treat me like a kicked puppy just for being poor,I remember once she told me she "couldn't imagine how hard life must be in my position"
There was this one incident where I was trying to let my bangs grow out because I was sick of them and she,in front of the whole class asked me if I'd like for her to pay for me to get a haircut since I "clearly couldn't afford one",I got so mad at this that when I went home I trimmed my own bangs out of sheer pettiness
