The olde orange line. That's when I was nervous to ride it. The streets looked empty somehow after they tore the El down though. I remember for a while after they took most of it down, they left the supporting columns in the streets, just sticking up into the air. It looked kind of sad.

No, the el was taken down in 1987. The Orange line is now on the surface from Back Bay station to Forrest Hill

NYC, Chicago, and Philly still have els. Els are so rugged urban. Boston's loss! The el still runs past Yankee Stadium.

Let Me tell this World Facts about a City that I lived in and around for just Under a Half Century. Boston is Not Boston anymore. It is a F'd Up Place Full of Absolute Weirdos who are Brainwashed by the TV. The People, (Wastes of Flesh) in that Place Now are All from Other States, All have Wealthy Parents, All Pretend to be Original Bostonians, it is Really Sick, Sad and F'd Up. The Trash there Now are so Sick and Upset from the TV and Politics that Boston No Longer Exists. Just a Place where the People Require Genocide. That Place is Way Overdue for an Earthquake, the last One being 1755. Let's make that Happen. A Vicious Deadly Earthquake that Floods the MBTA Tunnels at Rush Hour, Followed by a Tsunami of Catastrophic Proportions. Do Not Eat the Food at Quincy Market, the Place is Infested with Rats, Rodents and the Food is Covered in Feces. Cooked or Not, that is DISGUSTING!!! Just like the People that live in that City Now.

I went to Our Lady of Lourdes school back in the early 60's. I came in from Roslindale on the E at Green St. station as a 13 year old. On 11/22/63 I can still remember vividly the ticket taker listening to his tiny transistor radio and crying while listening to the reports of president Kennedys assassination on his radio. I rode the T for 7 years going to school and what I remember most of it was that day and all the adults crying that day.

The recoloring takes away from the images; the repetitive music is a little annoying and the information bars that pop-up at the bottom block half the photo.
Not to mention that I was yelled at annoyingly when I click on the video.
