Gosh he’s SMART! I’m really liking this one Sam! (Honestly love them all but this little guy is really cute! Reminds me of my first pony) I see him being a nice hunter or event pony…..His gaits look so fluid, can’t wait to see him over fences!
I'm really enjoying watching the progression videos you're doing. So fun. I'm actually doing a rescue horse training challenge and our competition is in September as well. I'm working with two horses which is not the normal thing for the challenge, but I wanted both horses to get a chance at a forever home. I also have to start them under saddle. One horse is a Saddlebred and she has a similar personality of your mustang, so it's really fun watching yours as well. Good luck and hope all goes well in the competition 😁
Not sure if you have picked a name for him yet, but I just had an idea pop into my head as I was watching this video. I was thinking of the name Tejas. I noticed in the videos that you keep calling him friend and this is also for the Texas EMM. The name Texas comes from Tejas, which means 'friend' or 'ally'. Just and idea, lol. I love watching your videos! They have helped me a lot with my little mustang baby.
❤Young Lady I Tell Ya” I enjoy your Video’s watching you Train these Wild Horses to be rideable horses. I’m Afraid of Horses.. I’m always amazed by how quickly your mustangs bond with you. He already cares about you and is trying to please. Do you spend a lot of time with him where you’re just hanging out?
I completely understand having some time away from the camera to work with him! My idea was to maybe make little timelapses of those sessions? Just an idea though love your work 🥰
He's doing very well, you are so good at this. Who cut his tail and what looks like, braided his mane? Have you a name in mind? I think Frankie suits him :)
Is it me or that his gait is diffrent? Or the way he tracks and the way he stands? He almost looks like the ?? Single foot ? They dont trot but a heck of a fast running walk ? Of the gaited horses? Kinda like when a horse " parks" i cant find the way to say it or explain it clearly . I know hes a mustang..but its the way he moves and stands..i love it.

I keep forgetting to tell you about Equine Dynamics podcast. This is a corresponding video that has a horse's skeleton and talks about movement patterns, etc. If you want, skip to 17:19 for the skeleton ua-cam.com/video/2X8F6QD94co/v-deo.html
Why do Sam's mustangs all fall in love with her? This guy's no different. He wants nothing more than to bond with her and tell her how unsure he's been till now.

Is that pronounced like “tay yas” or “tay ha s”? I really like it😊
@@emk7132 I've always pronounced it "tay ha s" but I met several people who have said "tay yas" or "tay jus"
I like that name too!

I can't stop watching 5:54-6:53 The rise in progress and then 6:31 the moment it clicked (maybe pun intended?) in for him.

How old should a horse be before I start saddle training them? Not necessarily riding on top but just saddling up.

How long are your sessions, typically?
