  • Patella Alignment‼️💯 To generate the most 💪force and avoid knee pain, your kneecap (Patella) and the insertion of the quadriceps ligament on your shin (Tibial Tuberosity) need to be aligned!
When we turn our feet out during movements the quad ligament gets pulled off of axis. This can be due to lack of mobility or lack of motor control😬. With your feet straight or slightly out depending on your body makeup, your kneecap tracks straight up and down over your tibial tuberosity, which is optimal for performance🏃 and injury prevention.
As a rule of thumb when working on movements in the gym 🏋🏼‍♀️ or at home focus on keeping your kneecap inline with your second toe.
