Education, discipline and goal setting are what got us there.
Living comfortably but modestly, avoiding lifestyle creep, and increasing income are what got us there before 40.

Excellent grassroots suggestions towards becoming "the first" in attaining that seven figure net worth status. Supplementary, I would only add what you essentially alluded to: acknowledging the importance becoming or being financially literate as well as knowing just how imperative it is to consistently practice effective budgeting.

Tiffany, did you start out managing your own investments or work with a firm? I think firms take 1.5 - 2% and I’m trying to determine if it’s worth it or just open a brokerage account and make my own choices? TY

You should not pay more than 1% with an investment firm and you could also just open a brokerage account on your own or a Roth account through Vanguard. The steps are pretty easy to follow.

I was working with a firm then started educating myself and switched to doing my own investments. I have lots of videos on my channel about how to do it on your own - you can definitely do it with a little education (and a mentor if you want 😉)!

Twenty years ago is 2003. Think about it.
